well, good, the bad and the ugly..
let's start with the good.
race 1) went well, pitted early - avoided mayhem - got benefits from other people's mayhem - finish 5th! I liked it ;D

then race 2) the bad, with a little ugly put in. raced in to the first turns complex. got a little wide and Gorka came up on my right and passed me - my front right wheel, just hitting his back left which nudged him left heading toward the guard rail, he saved it and started coming back. I moved right to give him room. I looked in my mirrors and it looked ok, here is the ugly part - it wasn't Sad David Coyne was right next to me and I tagged him and spun him - right in front of Rikard and Rick Nauman - collected both of them and also David Hart. this was all my fault - Sorry guys! had to look at replay to see it all. Darn!
I was hoping to avoid this, and especially hoping NOT to be the cause of it! :-\
my apologies!

with regrets --- jer

Qualy
--------
Not able to get a good lap. At the very end I managed a 32.0 that brought me to second place.

Race 1
---------
Big stutters at the start that caused me to lose the car in a couple of places and damage it. Pitting in lap 2 for repairs and getting back to race having to manage tires and a heavier car for 7 laps.
4 laps to the end I found myself in 4th place behind DjC 5 seconds ahead. I started approaching him and a lap later we found David Coyne coming out of pits for the second time (penalty). The remaining 3 laps were very close racing and battling. In the final lap I managed to overtake DjC but then we took his position back, so finally I ended 4th which is not as bad considering the stuttering.

Race 2
----------
We always make the point in being carefull the first corners but I found myself crashed and damaged (please remember to be give enough room when cars are side by side)

I got from there with a damaged but still driveable car, so I decided to check the pace of the car before going for repairs, but at Masta I found a very slow car through the racing line ???. I was able to avoid it but being put off the line just couldn't avoid the houses, and crashed. Sad

QUALI Smile
Only did 2 laps but that was enough. First time in the 3:30s for me with my second lap (3:30.8.) and because I haven't seen anyone near that laptime, I decided to watch the world cup broadcast for the rest of the qualify session.

RACE 1 Smile
Started from pole, did a good start and clean eau rouge-passage. I saw Gorka struggling and Robert taking over 2nd place but being slipstreamed by DC and DJ. I had a little gap so I didn't have to worry about them. I took it easy, not even close to my pole laptime but good consistency with a few ~3:32.5-laps. I was careful when entering pits and not to miss my pitspot, and they gave me a perfect 46 sec stop 8) My goal for second stint was to bring the car home safely for my 3rd win, and so I did.

RACE 2 Sad
Watch Gorka's video above. Because of Jerry's mistake I crashed into a few cars in front of me, and Rick crashed hard into my rear which made my car go airborne and landing in the ditch, together with 4-5 other cars. Struggled to make it back to track and then gave up and watched football instead. Well, shit happens.

Robert leading now Wink But Brianza race 2 is still missing, so I guess I should still be in top...pheew :o

Btw, bonuses are not correct, are they? There's no bonus for pole position (1p) and fastest lap should be 3p instead of 2p, and there should be no bonus for most laps on lead. Right?

Gorka - I now add you to the list of people that I wish I didn't screw up their race - my apologies..

Race 1

I started from 4th and managed to hold position until DJ drafted past just before masta , i then had Gorka all over me like a rash for the next lap , he got past me aproaching Masta , he then proceded to put pressure on DJ but lost it under braking at Blanchimont and i got the place back , i slowly reeled DJ in over the next couple of laps and drafted by on the approach to Blanchimont , i then started to pull away , pitted on lap 5 for 53secs and carefully drove out but still got a drive thro , i must presume i didnt slow enough on pit entry , did the drive thro on the next lap and that let DJ back past me , chased after him and was concentrating so hard on catching him i never looked in my mirrors , movement caught my eye coming out of stavelot and there was Gorka looming large behind , this gave me a wake up and made me go for a pass on DJ quick to get him between me and Gorka , stayed near DJs gearbox and managed to draft buy him into Masta , then just kept it as neat as i could , finished a distant second behind Rik .

Race 2

Started Ok going into Eue Rouge i could see something kicking off so stayed to the right but got tagged which spun me into Gorka, flew off down the banking and was amazed i had no damage , rejoined but well down so got my head down to lap as fast as i could , worked my way up the field and pitted on lap 6 , came out of pits and was amazed to find i was in 3rd but a long way behind DJ , on my second lap approaching Les Combes i felt a strange bump and on turning for the corner the car ploughed striaght on into the barriers and rolled into the centre of the track i think i must have had a puncture (do we have them?) or i did have damage after the first lap crash and something broke , got it off the track quick as i knew Cookie was coming , fortunately i didnt take him out but i had to retire .

Jerry dont worry that was a racing accident at a well known blackspot , its very hard trying to stay out of the way of a lot of fast starters especially when they come at you from all directions .

Big thanks to Paul and DJ for setting this up , DJ your mods have made that a very nice track
