Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to Season 5 of our Historic's League. After four seasons driving open wheelers, this season we take a litle step forward in history and get to drive the historic Lola T280, a car that provides both a powerfull engine and adjustable wings.
This first event will take place in Brianza and will be splitted in two 30 min races. Having the second race reversed grid for the top ten finishers of the first race.
More surprises in different races will take place as season progresses.

1 mandatory pitstop must be done during the race with all four tires changed

Drivers will be classified for points after completing 70% of the race laps

still unsure whether to take part in this season.
To be honest, the lola is ok but not one of my favourite cars.
Then I'm not teamed up and I will be away from my wheel this weekend...

Even if you decide to not take part in the season you can always join a race if it suits you, but i guess you know that

about missing the first race, will we have strike results for this season? don't know if this would be a simple task with the different race-formats and probably different point systems for each weekend

Yes, we will have strike results, we have talked about it and we all agree its fair as many members skip races for IRL reasons.

A rookie question: How to register for the league?

I went to the league site some days ago and registered. It is possible for me to log into the site, but I am not listed as a driver yet.
Did I miss anything? Is there any additional "register button"? Or shall I be just mare patient and have to wait until I am activated by an admin?

If you have registered and you cannot login, then you must wait a bit for admin's acceptance.
When you login there, you must add your name as a driver into DRIVERS/INDEX by getting your info in DRIVERS/EDIT DATA

Yesterday it was my first time online with other drivers and it felt a little wierd being behind someone's slipstream. Don't know if it was me doing it unconsciously or actually the car felt different. As if the air turbulence massively reduced the downforce created by the rear wing.
I felt I had to battle the wheel when behind a car at high speeds and suffered rear brakes locking when braking for parabolica.
