Thanks Paul..
if you or nikos want a real road file (track rubber) I attached one
haven't raced here before - so I just rubbered in the track configuration that was on the server...
hey Paul/nikos
I seen late last night that we are using the GP layout - so, I am attaching a rubber file IF you want to use it. warning though, for some reason on this track my AI cars just followed the leader and there is only one small groove - up to you if you want to use it...
Sadly i am going to have to miss this one as i will be on Vacation .
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it
I have a problem with the server. Tonight I tried to join and came in in spectator mode it seems. I have never had this issue. I tried turning spectator mode on and off again. I successfully joined another server. But the problem persists with the SR4L server. Any ideas?
Don't know if you guys have tried this version of Donington park that popped up on the ISI forum. It's still far from perfect but better than the version by Intel48 that we running on the server now. Reading the thread looks like it might have been converted from another game so it's a bit naughty . http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/24...post349350 .
thanks DJ / AXE..
I downloaded and tried the track DJ has link to above and I like it better than the one we had on the server yesterday. (haven't been on yet today so I don't know if it has been changed) also, the AI cars use the correct line here, so I can make a good rubber file - IF you want/need one. the track will have a little longer lap time due to the fact that the left right juke at the end of the short chute coming back to the main complex is more of a left - right turn.
don't know if this track will solve problem some are having getting in the server.
anywho - I like it better, looks better! that's my 2 cents.. try it for yourself and see...
if you do use the Donnington_Park V1.0 that DJ talked about and I like better than what we have on the server now which is the Itel48 - use the attached road file for rubber - it is very good.
also paul/nikos you would want the GP layout....

This is a far better version than the Ital48 its more like the real circuit and i have driven the real circuit in the past , on the Ital48 the Maclanes and Coppice corners are all wrong .
