DJCruicky Wrote:It's a long race, wonder how many pitstops (if we don't damage car that is) would be needed. I not done any long runs with this car.

DJC

you can race at least an hour on fuel so its not a fuel issue- tires may only last 30 minutes tho" if you dont manage them and if they are red at the start of a lap look out by the end of it ,you lose all grip and may not make an apex for 9 minutes and wreck the car Wink ive done it Tongue im only planning to 1 stop

please day night day transition for racing ...about 3 laps at night would be good ...i like it

please also set the server now to end in dark at the very end.....

....i dont know what settings effect that but please try it out so we can practice a little dark at the end.....maybe dark at the start of lap 3 if it can be done

Tire handling must be taking in consideration, indeed, but as long as the car is balanced and you don't push qualy laps they should last half the race without reaching warning levels.
I had serious rear grip problems yesterday. I don't know if it was not being enough rubber on track or the track surface. Must work on that as in a single lap rear tires took a big amount of wear.

Thanks for the tips all. but me with tire handling Big Grin Big Grin, oh dear Big Grin. I might try a 50 min leg sometime

@Gorka i was using wing 20. Not tried many other settings but that seemed ok for me to keep the car in control.

@Cookie yes dark at the end would be nice.

Also I guess there is little reason to have practice session, just run a big qually session then race.

I did see it for first this evening. I joined half way through a session and the people in the room had the same 8.44. Where as per yesterday it was fine as I started in the room with nobody in. Maybe a side-effect from the short cut, I don't know. Think it will be ok for race day as most people will be in the room at the start of qually, I would not panic.
It's odd as 8:44 is around about near to my PB lap time. I'm down to 8:40.xx now.

I noticed that fast top speed when I was behind you at the straight, saw you pulling away faster and faster.

I'll have to reduce that drag (I was using highest downforce) and add more mechanichal grip at the rear anti-roll bar.

Anyone has tested how fuel weight affects laptimes?
