Lol at the WRC logo ;D Seriously good choice of car for this track. Have not tried it yet but I'm sure it is suitable. Only thing we need is co-drivers 8)

Just a thought, will we manage the laptimes manually somehow, just in case? Because I think lots of people will get the "lap do not count" message. Had it yesterday and I did not even touch the grass.

Wow I had a lot of fun with this car after mapping a key for handbrake! BUT what's up with the rear tires? It's a front wheel drive car and when I'm not using handbrake the rear tires stay super coold all the time but STILL they wear x2 faster than the front tires that are really hot??? In reality the front tires would wear faster, so then it would make even more sense to use the handbrake but now it's just getting worse when using it. I have like 40% left of the rear tires and 90% of the front (!!!) after less than a half lap. And yes I'm using hard tires! :o

Do you have a mobile phone? Put on your best Robert Reed voice and record yourself a co-driver. Don't forget all the "jump, maybe" bits Big Grin

Actually it is a 4 wheel drive car (I also thought it was going to be a front wheel drive until I read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_2000 )

We'll have to drive like real S2000 rally drivers on tarmac, only spinning the rear tires on close hairpins to avoid losing time on "normal" corners and wasting the tires.

As DjC said, flags will have to be "disabled" to avoid the "lap do not count" false penalty.

They (Rik and Robert) must choose who will drive and who will call the curves. ;D

Tinking it seriously that would make a great event, having a human copilot reading the notes.

Okay thanks, I thought it felt exactly like a FWD car in the way it understeers and pulls the steering wheel into corners :o And I thought Super 2000 was FWD but apparently confused it with Super 1600. Still funny how the rear tires wear so quickly though, considering they don't seem to do any of the work in the corners as they stay super cold. I have never seen a 4WD car in rf2 before, anyone know if they actually work as they should?

Gonna have another go with it today and see if there is possible to do anything at all in the setup to try to prevent this, or at least decrease it :Smile

Two years ago, me and brother Oscar participated in a Targa with copilot allowed.

Thats means, somebody can "sing" the track for you. I put myself into my brother's car speaking the track, turn by turn, and its works very well. Race format allow this because was a 4 laps race with a team of two drivers swaping from one lap to the next.
There was 24 cars and pilots in the server, but only 12 was running at the same time. Very funny.

This is why you so fast santiago Wink.

For the rFactor 1 version I had co-pilot pace notes plugin.
Sounded like this..

To be true, I memorized Targa 4 years ago when was converted to RF1, at that time didnt have internet access at home, downloading file elsewhere and racing in-home. I spend a full year trying Targa, training four hours a day, four weeks, 12 month.

I "sing" the track to my brother Oscar on the fly, just by memory, never used pace notes, nor now.

A very good excercise for people over 60 years old. Memory is a muscle. Of course, you never know in full a 72 Km track. Always learning something new. I think our friend Siarhei knows this track better than me.

hey guys, I have just read tonight there's been the daylight saving time change in the States?
I've just updated the first post, please be careful!!!

Please correct me if I'm wrong in my calculations.
The time attack should start at 4pm EST instead of the originally calculated 3pm

Gorka, are we going to do a private quali session in our league event too? Although that is the most fair way, I can't help to think it would be more fun if we actually had the chance to see another car out there Smile Even if it means that you could get held up a bit by a slower car. 30 or 45 seconds gap maybe. But if that is too complicated (Because someone need to call people out on track like Marcel did. Maybe I can do that if we use reversed grid?), then it's fine with a private session too..

Those were my first thoughts when we planned this in a previous fun event, but people preffered the private qualifying session, less complicated.

Gorka is right people did prefer the private qualifying session. I will set it with a 5 min time.

That way the session will end once the last driver crosses the line.

Practice will be extended to allow everyone time to join before the qualifying starts.
