Skins for the Classic F2 league

My team Last Orders Please and Dancourt brothers' Ecurie Peruvien will run on Ferrari colours which Ill make, red Ferraris for Last Orders Please and white-blue NARTs for Ecurie Peruvien if the Dancourts agree.

Request help if you need it for skins here please.

Any chance you can fix me and John up again with a nice skin? Either stick with our colors from past seasons or use your judgement and taste to take us outside the box.

If you're over-tasked with paint orders then no problem. We can go "stock" if we have to.

As I see rick you have chosen Matra (Eve) for your team so you both have the Eagle skins from F3s, they fit perfectly, just put them to the new appropriate folders, or create folder with CREATE FOLDER button at TUNING.

Of course if you want something new, tell me and we will fix it.

Maybe you want your numbers changed by the order you finished last season?

Send me your skins so I change numbers.
Send me the .psd file if you have it, or else just the .dds

Seems like all the templates are gone, no sign of them on the ISI website or with the new company (unless someone has a link?).

The folders that start MS5 and MS7 are for F3 and F2 cars respectively.

If you want to see a preview thumbnail of the skins in the folders, download and install a program called SageThumbs(2.0.0.22) and you should be able to tell what each file is if you switch to the extra large icons view.

If you go inside the game and choose a car you want to use, your whatever number Matra F2 (I remember your team chose), go inside TUNING.
In there, on right of page, you will see the address of the folder this car is in.
this address is inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\rFactor 2\UserData\player\Settings\

Now go and name your skin, the Eagle one I think I made for you (if I remember wrong Ill make you a new one) which is in .dds or .mas form and remember to keep name short ending in alt.
E.G. : rickalt.dds or 123.dds or whatever you want.

Place this file in the address-folder you saw in TUNING, restart game, go again in TUNING, and by pressing the arrows you will find your rickalt skin.

Thanks Nikos, that ended up being pretty straight forward. Just paste the F2 skin from ISI_EVE_HISTORICS_1968 to the RF2_SR4L_MATRAF2_HISTORIC directory. What threw me off was all the mentions of F3 skins:

"do our f3 skins fit these cars ?... yes"

"...you both have the Eagle skins from F3s, they fit perfectly, just put them in..."

But anyway, I'm good-to-go. Thanks for making them and steering me straight!
