SR4L is proud to announce the 2013 Fun Race League. Last season F3 series was a huge success and has help our race client take a big step forward. Of course none of this is possible without fantastic members with great attitudes, we thank you all and wish you good luck.

Mod&Cars
You will need to log into the SR4L League site and go to Drivers/Edit Data/Seasons
Choose the mod, SR4L F2 60's Fun Race League.
Choose your car and car number e.g. Spark F2 number 23.
Add your real name to Nick in Sim* Our league policy is race with your real name.

Car Choices:
EVE F2 MS7 is car number 22
EVE F2 MS7/1 is car number 23
EVE F2 MS7/2 is car number 3
Spark F2 is car number 23 or 48
Winged Spark is not available.

Points System

Drivers and Team points use the current F1 points system 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 .
Qualifying bonues for Pole position = 1 point
Fastest lap of the race = 2 points
Most laps on lead bonus = 1 point
Finish 100% of the race = 2 points

3x13 Lap races with race three reverse grid.

Teams/Manage
Add
Add your Team name e.g Ferguson/Swire
Choose the season, SR4L F2 Fun Race League
Save

Scroll down and Invite your Team Mate from the list.

Go back to Teams/Invitations
In the drop down box select the Season
On your Team click send, you'll see a yellow warning symbol appear until your team mate accepts.

Done.

Note* The Teams will be announced and will consist of 2 drivers only. I will endeavour to make
them as even as possible. This is purely trial run and again all about Fun.

Is it based in random decision? real weather forecast? historic race forecast? just a guess. Great to have it.

I would hope real forecast. Although it is calling for 60% chance of snow showers @ monza this sunday you could just say 60% chance of rain instead

I guess it must be based in a "wise" decision. As being the first race, if we race as the weather we are having this days in south Europe.... races should be red flagged due to heavy showers.

Note: Checking real weekend forecasts for Monza weather for sunday will probably be cold and cloudy (just a few chances of rain/light snow)

I'm visiting my girlfriend over the weekend and will have to see which train i can catch back home :-\ starting the season in not the best way

Why does the vmod download take so long? it's 1 MB and after 15 mins i gave up on it...
What are the speeds you guys are running at? Without draging someone i get to 264 at max...best laptime is something little under 1:36 yet. Much room for improvements...it's my first time running Brianza i still get some turns wrong and haven't found the optimal braking point for T1.

I dont think the Spark is as aerodynamic as the Eve , it was the same with the F3 at Brianza last year , like everyone else i am topping out at 264

As you say, no it's not.
Spark F2 -> Base drag: 0.359
Eve F2 -> Base drag: 0.355
