I have several points to review:
1. You don't need a lot of testing to determine: March fastest/easiest, McLaren close, BT44 unable to contend.
2. Suzuka is a terrible testing track. Too hard to be consistent lap to lap.
3. Requiring a team will likely keep me away. Why is a team required?
4. Pit stop requirement eliminates tire wear/abuse from the equation, probably fuel too. Not requiring pit stop makes things much more interesting.

The three seem very well balanced to me. I seem to be fastest in whatever is driven most recently - currently the McLaren. Brabham feels easiest to drive, and isn't slow. My fastest lap in the McLaren was with considerably more downforce than laps in the other cars, and with setup tweaks to make it more pointy.

The true is that this 3 cars, being different among them, has more or less same capabilities, because somehow different physics, so is good to have the opportunity to choose a car that better suited to your personal driving style. Having 3 distinctive cars will be good for this Champ.

You can make a team where you are the single driver, Dan.
About pitstop, it adds a bit of tension to the race and also can make a difference with a good strategy. We already did 1h race with no pitstop at the BT44 league and it lacked a bit of mid race tension.

I should be able to compete. Just finished an iRacing Sunday league. Will need to check out the cars. Once I decided on a car I do a Dog Walker paint job.

Brabham seems to have less available downforce (at least at the front) than the others. In testing I got a slower sector 1 (s curves) but the fastest sector 2 (spoon, 130r). It does seem to be competitive and might appear even better at faster circuits.
Update: Tried all three cars at Belgium with minimum downforce. All did 304kph up the hill into Masta, and 308kph down into Stavelot. Spookily similar, but they each felt different. McLaren felt the most floaty and understeery.

Or just pick a stock color unless we want to impose on someone. I've never learned the method. Regarding the car... actually I'm liking either the March or the McLaren.

BTW, I think the word "therefore" should be replaced with "but". It took a little pondering to make sense of the statement. Or maybe it's just me.

No speed limit just as in 1976. No other reason.
Being English not my mother language it's very probably the word therefore is not used correctly there, maybe the way I built the sentence in my head doesn't match the way it is built in English.

Gorka try these settings see if they suit you - tyres 103 all round - rear camber .0.8 - aero 4-11 they totally alter the car , backend is loose untill you get heat into tyres .
Still seeing strange things with the tyre model , got great heat spread across whole tyre but no grip ? best results i find centre lower than inside / outside
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it

Dan Suzuka is actually a brilliant track for testing ,you have virtually every variation of corner on one track , sure its hard but thats the idea so we can learn how to drive these cars , for me i am having to adapt my driving style big time , on the older historics i tend to throw them at a corner and catch whatever the car does , but that does not work with these , i am finding i have to be alot smoother and read the track farther ahead , its going to be a lot harder when surrounded by other cars , i may replace front wing with cow catcher

Yeah Suzuka is a great testing track, I remember using it to find my base setup for whatever league and car I was going to race.

Well I did after all figure out your meaning so good on you. I am in awe of any of you guys that can speak two languages. I took a few classes in Spanish 40 years ago but never had a chance to apply it so there is nothing left.

i want to go to COTA next year - make me a guide rick !!
ive spent a bit of time with the march , time to test the mclaren a bit more ...i dont know - the tires on the march start to slip after 5 laps while still showing good on the hud so you need to be aware - not sure about the mclaren yet , my times are thew same so far but i seem to be able to throw the mclaren around a little better , agree with coyne there - you gotta get your business done before the turn
