Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to our 1976 F1 Season.
Three cars will battle for the 1976 championship, The Brabham BT44B, the Mclaren M23 and the March 761. Will you be James Hunt this season? Join us and show your skills.

Please Read The Rules Before Entering This Event

The fastest laptime so far is 8 mins 10 seconds. 12 laps at that pace would make this a 98 minute race! Surely it should be 7 or 8 laps?

I was wandering why nobody had realised yet.
Well, it's definitely the green hell, therefore Bryan and I thought in making it the same duration as the real 1976 F1 Germany GP.
The Green Hell will be hell for everyone this sunday.

Ah, now I see why you emphasised the hell in green hell. This is going to be tough - I might need to take the Monday off work...

Been using this track in iRacing to improve my SR much in the Lotus 79, so am getting used to it, although it will be slightly different in the McLaren.

For this race everyone within the 20 first places by the end of the race will get points (nevermind you crashed the first lap).

Let's change the scoring system for this event @bullwinkle

If we're racing a full GP race length can we set tire wear to x1?

See pictures on my Nords Thread. It shows the route to follow to start a timed lap without having to do a full lap ->http://Here.

Just done a lap. All was well except the car took off at one point where others have not (should have stuck to the road here, me thinks), yet it did not take off at the airport. Otherwise all was well. Did not get a time as I only had time to do a sighting lap without taking the short cut. Not expecting to win but should be able to finish without too much drama.

I captured you in full flight Bruce. SR4L received a message from International Air Spare requesting your clearance Tongue
I have to lift there to keep the nose down.
