By my calculations the races will be 12 laps each.

Think I'm running more or less the default setup, not really touched it, apart from "Wheel range (lock)" to the max setting just so I don't have to turn the wheel as much.
I mess up on the first slow right hand corner a lot of times, tricky to get right.
Some corners have hidden camber, so the traditional racing line might not be the fastest way to go through some of them.

Although I'm not the fastest driver I had fun with yesterday's races. Had some close racing and good fights with John Cook in the first race, until I damaged my suspension. In the 3th race I was less fortunate; crahsed after a collision with RKeene (I think?). But this can happen to the best we learned at Silverstone F1 (Max/Lewis).
Hope to join again for the rest of the series.

that was good fun last night. Avoiding mistakes seems to be crucial on this track

Was good. I had close races with the new guy 'SpeedRacerSeven'. I could only follow him, could not get close enough to even think about overtaking him. 2nd place for each race. Was fun.
Would be nice to get a few more drivers for next race. Bring a friend or 2 Big Grin.
The next track is like a roller coaster.
CU there soon.

hi there! thanks for showing up at my native GP, fellas!
so i stayed for one more round on server to see how fast i can clock a lap in default set-up and, well, both David and John were faster in a live race! therefore i feel humbled and obliged to share a default set-up's improvisation i've made according to a few rF2 hacking laws known to me. it's not only grippier and stiffer, but simpler to navigate with too. it's understeer properties can be used by throwing the car into a small skid and letting it drive itself out.
I do not consider myself a slow driver and FBMW is the only car i've driven online until recently (extensively in Live for Speed Demo FBMW servers), so to me you two're officially geniuses and the rest are rising stars! Wink

OK I did the What Not to Do in the last race. At lease I'm not upside down in the river like the video above. I see Giorgio did the same Big Grin.

Races were fun. Track was getting faster and faster as the rubber was getting laid.
Thanks for setup Mr.Speedy, I will try it. If the server reloaded, you might have been doing your test on a green track.

CU all next week

Yepp, I did the same job DJ. Big Grin

What I love of this serie is the car, very funny one to push on (mine) limits and even more the tracks that are all new for me. Smile
