Hey guys I'm going to be racing in this one. It's been a while since I've done any racing so any setups or tips would be appreciated Smile

Good stuff! I know you're struggling just now - but if you find this race a bit of 'the deep end' then also consider joining us for the fun races on Wednesday nights - (see other threads for details...)

Which car are you using Stu
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it

I think im going to go with the Britus 43. It's the only one I've driven so far that doesn't want to kill me

Dont try to set car too low they dont like it . lowest you can go 7-7.5 f 8-8.5 r , tyres lowest pressure , brakes are a big issue with locking drop brkae pressure to 58 -60 , springs softish same with roll bars .
Do all hard acceleration and braking in striaght lines only

There’s a very strong likelihood that many drivers will fail to finish - you have an advantage in that the other competitors are already committed to their death-traps and a slower, steadier race in the 43 might be a hot ticket! Good luck!

Please see pictures and instructions on how to start your timing lap without having to do a full warm up lap.--> http://HERE

In qualify, please wait for everyone to finish their laps before chatting. It's a long track, drivers could be still finishing their lap for another 10 minutes after the clock has hit zero. Please check that there is a P next to each persons name before chatting.

You are all a guinea pigs trying out my updated track 2.40, let me know if you find any bugs in the event. Tell me if I was successful with fixing a pit sharing issue I had with old version. If all ok, I will update my links over at my S397 thread.

Have nice race all.

One thing I might need to do is block the entrance to the old pits to stop drivers driving up it in a VLN race.
Please Mr. Dan Bayford, please come forward and explain your self Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

I'm just wondering if a few cones will do it, or do we need a full on tyre wall? Big Grin
