rF2 Historic EVE F3 Summer League (6 week special)

We’re returning to our roots, a car we first drove at SR4L back when we started out more than 10 years ago, the: Historic EVE F3 car.
We will be running the updated community made version.
Highlights of the community made car compared to the original:
- New and improved physics
- 68 Skins made by the community
- Choice of 5 different HP engines (please note we will only run the standard powered engine for this league, see below)
- Choice of 5 wheel rims
- Fixed driver goggles making them clear not white
- New UI icons for all cars
- Fixed aspect ratio of virtual mirrors

Special Rules:
- Mandatory pit stop. At least 1 pitstop must be done in the race changing all 4 tyres.
- Only Standard engine is allowed. Please choose Engine upgrade 'Standard' before entering server.
Accidentally entering the server with a higher powered engine will give you an automated weight penalty. This can be removed if you exit the server fully and re-join with the correct engine.
   

Please use same driver name for all events so your points will be calculated correctly.

Expect some very close racing driving these very fun to drive cars.

I guess anyone who ‘owns’ one of the community skins should have first dibs on it. There are plenty of Guest (plain colour) skins for people to use.

Any tips for how to set up the Eve F3? I've always felt at sea with my efforts.

I would not worry about that, just pick whatever. Most car skins in the pack are many years old and most of the drivers that made them are not around no more anyway.

But there is already a nice skin just for you in the pack, I think it will suit you very well:-

RACE 1: GNOO BLAS

First race of the season we go down under to Australia a track called Gnoo Blas, a track that has you driving on tight dusty country roads around farm land.

Race details:
► 21 Laps
► Standing Start
► Mandatory pit stop. At least 1 pitstop must be done in the race changing all 4 tyres
► Only Standard engine is allowed
► Points: 50 40 35 30 25 20 16 14 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1
► Race day password: eve

Special Rules for Gnoo Blas:-

The track has a tight pit in and pit exit:-
   
► When pitting in race, and if you have a car close behind you, please try slow down off the racing line to avoid being rear ended.
► When leaving pit exit, try to keep to the right of the road until you are up to speed.
► Pitlane speed limit is 100 KPH, do not speed.
► When not pitting and driving passed the pit area, watch out for cars leaving pits. Best advice is try keep left when passing pit exit to avoid the unexpected.

► Take care not to run over the pit exit guy, he will reward you with a broken wheel
   
► It is strongly advised to practice pitstops.
► Slipstreaming is allowed, but http://bump drafting is not.
► Last rule, Have Fun

Lets try get more than 10 drivers on the grid. Invite a few friends that have an interest in fun close racing with these great cars.

Standing start, no formation lap.
Real Road is how it is on the server now, fairly heavy.
