Tuesday Fun from 16th July

Ed fancies a change of car - I’m happy to retire the Imps/NSUs until we can rebuild a league later in the year…

…suggestions on a postcard!

I'm definitely up for trying the Cooper, or BMW 3.5 CSL (1.06) at Salzburgring (1.2). Both are on Steam Workshop. Inspiration being 1970s European Touring Car Championship.

I just took the Cooper T73 out at Goodwood Circuit and it felt and sounded great.

Ok, well to save me some time, we’ll use the Cooper this week at a suitable track (possibly goodwood).

I’ve reconfigured my mesh WiFi system and in general terms, it seems pretty stable so I’m hopeful I can complete more races this week.

Are we doing Coopers at Goodwood this evening? Server seems to be on last week's config.

Yes - but I’ve failed miserably to grab a sec to load it!

I promise it will be up this afternoon (mebbe 4ish?)

Coopers at Goodwood this week.

Ed and I had a little play last Tuesday. Car needs dialling in a bit from default but is quite nice.

Do share that setup on the night Big Grin. Car downloaded. I'll try be there if nothing comes up.

That’s odd - I thought I posted a reply to this after the race….

Anyway, I didn’t get in well with the T73s but shouldn’t be surprised given the lack of practice.

Happy to try them somewhere else (Watkins maybe) or we could give the Batmobiles a run out?

My partner is away from Monday so I should be able to get some seat time this week!

Because I’ve been occupied elsewhere (again! Moving house, eh?!?) let’s do T73s at Watkins and maybe fiddle with the CSLs the week after.

T73s at Watkins International (Boot, NC) is up and the cars are OK as long as you dial out the inherent understeer.

Last night was good fun - the T73 Coopers seemed happier (to me) at Watkins.

Well run them again on Tue 6th - I should have a chance to get a track up much earlier this week than of late….

Great news Dan.

I’m still massively distracted by house-move things. I’ll load up Brands or similar very shortly - apologies (as ever) for the late load (and I might not snag the best Brands either).
