Te first for this car and the most difficult imo cause there is not the wired layer in the template that helps a lot.

Lookin foward to have a nice night at Essington! Smile

wire or not it looks gorgious :o

I agree, nice job gplay. If I can get the plugins and files to work in 3ds max I could make a brand new, from scratch template, with a wireframe in just a couple minutes. The hard part is moving back and forth from my computer to my dad's to test skins and get files I need. But in the future I'll get you guys a wireframe which will help with positioning logos and decals perfectly. Idk why PIXSIM doesn't release a template, I'm guessing its because whoever Unwrapped the car did a poor job and they don't want people to see that. I'm a newb at the process of unwrapping but I could do better than what they did, although I love the Lolas so can't complain much Tongue Good job again gplay!

I've activated the HDR profile for Essington. Is a little foggy, but I feel it more real than nothing.

Anyone having a problem with the mirrors in the Lola? I tried turning HDR off but it made rf2 run in a black screen mode which was unusable, same when I tested it offline.

Yes, the mirrors sometimes work and then not, guess it depends on the track.

Do you have FXAA enabled? Maybe it's this problem:

I usually run FXAA on. I've tried it off and it seemed to make no difference although the mirrors reappeared as I said from one session to the next. Guess it's just beta and an unofficial track thing.

That link shows the same problem I received after turning HDR off.

Thank you Jp.
Yes, it is a good idea to make a new wireframe!

Update on Lola mirrors, I set my refresh rate to 59 instead of 60 and it seems to have fixed the problem.. for now.

I'd like to sign off for tomorrows race.
On a short track like this; there's no clear lap to do with a car such as the F2 and it's (in my opinion, because other guys want it so) clear there's not going to be a private qualifying session.

I know these F2's are a pain in the but, but I like them and it IS one of the choices........

Now for a good lap; you need tyres that have been warmed up and low fuel; you have to have driven 2 laps before that. Than you can really go for it and you have to be extremely lucky not to meet someone. That's very hard even with 6 cars on track; tomorrow it's going to be impossible.
For those of you who think I overreact; take the F2 and drive a few laps with 20 cars on track before you say I'm whining Wink

The speed difference is way to big and when I think of how they do this in real life, such a difference on a pretty short track......well.....they don't! Wink

Wim, it's a Fun Event. Designed to promote SR4L and to have some fun in between the more serious league races. I'm not sure why your worried about a qualifying lap?? and traffic. The F2 could start from the back of the grid in a 30 minute race and still win easily. Try and find the joy in it, this race counts for nothing and is purely for fun. There's no conspiracy against you and the F2 Tongue

Fun Event, enjoy it.

I understand it's a fun race, but it's going to be a lot less fun with me starting -lets say- midfield and causing the biggest start crash ever Wink

Plus; can you imagine how frustrating it is to qualify more than 2,5 seconds slower than the time you are driving in "just a good lap",not even a pb? Or sitting on your pb, split 1 having -0,5xx split 2 having -0,78x and then meeting someone? For all of us, the attraction of simracing is making fast lap times, setting new pb's, qualify the best you can........

I know there is no conspiracy against me and my sweat hart, but I noticed some guys not liking the F2 running around; that's just a fact.

When I drive my Nissan, I come across a lot of Lola's and Corvette's too.
And " For all of us, the attraction of simracing is making fast lap times, setting new pb's, qualify the best you can........", under certain conditions. You have a large hand in those so yeah, that's the way it is Smile

Again, sorry you don't see the challenge or the fun in it. It's a Sim after all and not an Arcade game.

Exposing members to all scenarios has helped this league, you can really see the confidence growing in the drivers that don't have a lot of league experience.

I would say get your butt on track and enjoy the Fun Event. Your more than good enough Wink

Well that's just my point; it's a sim........and challenging scenario's is fine with me, but there's a reason why this particular scenario doesn't take place in real life; to many accidents.
It's "bad enough" we keep meeting in a race and in practice sessions because often enough it goes all wrong, so why this half hour of qualifying is unthinkable of making a private session......is beyond me; it's not the biggest thing to ask I thought.

(And I don't even whine about one of the fast guys just blocking me when I lap him in race)

An update on the Lola mirrors too. After trying setting the refresh to 59 I thought it had fixed the problem but it didn't. It seems to be intermittent what ever setting I try :Smile

I wonder if it's anything to do with that old bug where it depends on what the first car is that joined the server. Just a guess.

I think my plan for tonight is:
1st race Lola,
2nd race, Nissan

CU then
