So I picked up my racing shoes and went out for an 8km night run.

(It's curious that after online races if I go out running my heart is always beating an average 15 to 20bpm higher than normal running sessions)

Hi all,

My 3rd fun weekend are past and i was enjoy pretty well
When thought calm, everything is very good and once time more SR4L still great for me!
Even CTD, crashes or any mistakes in real race life happens maybe more bad situations at the same time >

Qualy:
Last week my time is difficult because from one hand my working hours is terrible much (up to 12 hours per day), and from the other hand had the Rally Acropolis event.
So i decide to participate with meganes because is more easy to handle for me.
I catch a 1:41:+ who brings at the 3rd possition of the meganes and at the ....bottom of grid

Race 1:
The driver front of me (dont remember who are) has a jump start, so i had also a jump start and my confidence still down.
I must had the stop and go penalty, but again do a mistake > > >
I confused with the same driver who has also the same penalty, when i saw him to stop at the pit stop area... so i do the same wrong and one round after I rentered the pits and run my penalty, losing valuable time and positions.
Finaly finised in 3rd place of the megane who are a very good position .... and my 1st ...informal podium

Race 2:
Somebody hit me at T1 so i needed around 70+ sec in pits, so at the end the 6th meganes position is my best.

Race 3:
Now have a reverse grid so i am if i remember well at the 5th grid position and first time i can see the race lights!!!!
When the red lights turn off, i had a great start (my reflexes was much better than my age :) and in my mind manage to had a clean pass from T1 & T2.
Everything is OK in T1 but before the S after T1 somebody with faster GT-R hit me twice.....
So i saw Giorgio are more than 30 sec front of me and i start to try catch up him
This race had the 5 sec lag so at the end i enjoy very much my best position ever who are the 2nd in the meganes and the 10th of the finished grid

Also i had (and still have) some issues with my pedals, who starts spiking (most brake and clutch pedals), but i will start explain that in other thread later

At turn 6 we all went to pit. I was expecting my pitbox to be close to the end of the pitlane but suddenly I found it was at the very beggining. Broke hard but I had to reverse. While I was reversing another car came in and stopped in the same pitbox. Tried stopping beside him but pitstop never started so decided to leave pits and do my pitstop the following lap.

I just watched the replay Gorgias. That was so funny, when that guy parked in your pit I could no longer breath no more LOL . Oh man. Sorry to laugh ;D. Think you would have beat us all with out your pit and CTD problems, you were flying. Try reduce texture detail setting, maybe you running out of vRAM with all the cars on track.

Mind you I failed myself in my race 1, ten second stop and go pen for speeding in pits from 1st place in the race. I had someone in my pit too.

The lags and pauses were funny, I was lucky, I gained a few places thanks to them.
@Paul/Fergy Have you tried running the server with with option 'Maximum # of AI' set at 0? Maybe worth a test to see if it stops cars turning in to AI and making the lag.

David, I'll try to check the windows registry to see if there's any VRAM warning, but I think size is big enough, I'll check it anyway in case I need to increase it. Also I'll try to ALT+TAB when a lot of people are online to check the memory usage at that moment.

I get two different types of CTD.
First one, the lightest, just crashes and freezes the screen. I still manage to get to see the taskbar and kill rFactor2.exe
Second one, the heaviest. RFactor2 crashes and completely freezes the graphics. No matter what you do, you get the same screen you had in rFactor2 when it crashed. Yo can hear windows is working in the background, I can even blindly kill the rfactor2.exe process, but screen will remain freezed. Only solution is to reboot the machine.

Video RAM, not Virtual RAM I mean. yeah, I've had crashes like that, but not as many as you seem to have.

I have old video card, 9800gt 500mb and I don't have such problems ever.
i7 6gb Ram.
Are you sure you are not running out of Ram Gorka?

I raced the first race but it doesn't show me on there

Fixed JP, 4th in the first race in the Meganes. If the new members don't register on the league site soon the results will stand.
