Amazingly 46 drivers tried our league race. 21 of which turned up for the last race. Feeling pretty proud at the moment

Ouch, that was too close. Well done to Marcel and Gorka.
Thanks to the hosts Bryan and Paul for the league. I'll be back next season with a new pit crew .

Hehe, Nikos and I with the same points, 143, but I took 12th because of my win at Brianza (?)
![]() Well it was 12 fun races, I joined the league under Brianza-weekend, and won one race there. Unfortunately that was my only one. I was well prepared for Putnam with a great setup and I think I managed to put some pressure on Marcel there, but that's definitely a Spark-track. After that weekend I had big hardware issues and missed Spa (that I had really looked forward to), joined Croft without any practice and couldn't concentrate because of all stutter/lag I had (=disaster). Well prepared for our last league race however, almost managed to take my first pole. Feels great to be in from the start next season. Looking forward to it Do we have a date?

Season two is over and I managed to have more points than Nikos! Since Nikos won last F3 season we have now a 1:1 situation and the (hopefully next) F1 season is needed to decide who's the winner. It was my priority one to beat Nikos this season and I'm glad this was the last race since Nikos had a great come back and was constantly reducing my points ahead :-\
Now seeing Mel and me have equal points maybe I should have fighted Mel more but ... I had accepted that you are faster Mel. Looking forward for new fights in the next season. Thanks Brian and Paul for organizing this, you did a great job! EDIT: now seeing cookie is only one point ahead - argh - how close!

I think this season has had two turning points that brought us Eve drivers to be less competitive:
- First was the release of the winged spark which resulted in spark drivers to be more than a second faster in many tracks. - Second was the unexplained change somewhere in mid season to go from x5 fuel to x1 fuel. When we drove x5 fuel we started races with heavier cars. Cars went lighter for mid race and after pitstop cars went back to be heavy. In this heavy to light situations I felt the Eve to be a little more cometitive than the spark. Also this x5 fuel system brought to have to preplan pit strategies more seriously as you had to study heavy vs. light lap times, calculate different pitting time depending on the fuel you were about to refill compare to the laptimes you would achieve in that situation. I think this helped the drivers who worked harder in planning pit strategies.

This was my first league season in Sim racing. It was great fun. I missed the first third of the season due to joining late and 3 out of the last 4 races due to hiking and kayaking, so I was pleased to finish so high in the table. With a full season, and more time on track, I feel I could be more competitive.
Well done Marcel, great driving and also good manners. Thanks to the organizers, your efforts are much appreciated. I understand its 60s F1 next, is that correct? I bet no one chooses a Brabham! Whens it due to start, roughly? I don't want to miss out!

F1's are coming. We will have a summer break, god knows we need it after 7 months non stop
![]() Expect a September start to the next league with a Christmas break. We may run a summer comp but undecided what it is at the moment. Besides we should be outside enjoying the sun ![]() Open to ideas. More details to come... Sim Racers 4 Life Come race the classics

What a great season it was....congrats to the wieners.....I managed to keep those lions at bay and squeeze ahead of mel at the last second to capture a top ten spot despite a lackluster performance most of the season.
Really looking forward to the F1's........but over the summer break, i think there needs to be a recruitment drive and a lot of practice with these beasts, not everyone is going to like how hard they are to drive i dont think- [the brabham cant compete unless you just want to drive 'club' tracks and defeat the purpose of driving an F1 car-they are a different gen than the eve and spark-same era but not the same tech]......I hope we stick to tracks that are better for F1 -but should we be trying some out over the summer to see what works ? -maybe open the server up on sundays for public fun races with the F1's? some of us will show up im sure-get people used to it

Hi all,
Also for me this is my very first season on tracks!!! Please note that kind of racing is not my favorite because i prefer Rallying. OK i participate in Greece national team in RBR, but that is completly differend. Here all "competitors" - Friends run at the same moment, so the stress, the fun and all that you want you have in overdose!!!! Finaly i lost the most of that long season (i participate only in 5 if remember well racing week ends), before meet Nikos of course, and i plan for the next season is to participate in all racing events!!!! Well done Marcel, of course with always great driving. At the end well done to all drivers. Well done also the organizers Bryan and Paul! Finaly well done all community SR4L for all that great moments! See all of you at next "BEAST" F1 season.....

It was the first complete season for me, it was very exciting and I never thought to get such a good position.
![]() The league made me falling in love with these magnificent historic cars that I never was curious to drive before. So thank you Bryan and Paul, but also all the members!

This was my first experience with a league also. Actually rF2 is my first online sim racing ever. My lack of race experience showed and I mostly just tried to not ruin anyone's race. Sorry that I was not always successful at that :-\. But I got more than I gave.
This old guy is easily distracted and racing near others made me nervous. And I can't tell you how many pit stops I screwed up the first half of the season. The Sebring event was the first time I was somewhat comfortable racing even though I was taken out in 1st lap of the 2nd and 3rd races. I limped back to the pits, repaired damage and continued on to finish on the lead lap. I only made one serious mistake all day (because of the missing braking sign at the chicane) but no harm. Because of my time zone, it is very hard for me to make the Sunday events. Very, very hard. I hope to do better. I am certainly happy I found this group. The guys get along well and even though there is tight competition at the point, it remains a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Mostly : ![]() It is great fun. I thank you all
