There's no way around it, it's a hard mod and with that comes massive challenges. One of them Finishing and being consistent will be the key to a good season. It's so difficult to make a finish here. It's as hard to drive fast as to drive slow and safe.
Race leading average laps should be around hi 24s low 25s. Don't think anyone risking to be faster will make it to the end. Sooner or later will meet the braking for casino or the braking for the chicane.

It was wierd practicing yesterday that everytime we restarted session/race my computer got lower fps.

Also pitlane here sould require some explanation (as in Belgium last season); people could find to get unexpected speed limit penalties.

Impossible, but will try.

I think what will happen there will be only 3 left driving around with broke cars with the rest having done a Bryan. Smile

I'll put my money on J. Cook or Nikos, they can drive for a lot of laps without a crash.

When we tested with a green track I felt it a lot safer, but the only reason for that is that it helped reaching the braking for the Casino and the Chicane at lower speeds. With full rubber I found those two brakings a big challenge (too early braking the rear is gone, too late and barriers will wait for you)

Mental Note: "Do not try to win the race on the start or even in the first two laps" ;D

Btw, I can't feel my tyres before doing 2 full laps, it is a sure thing that I hit the wall If I am not extremely careful with the throtle and brakes before that.

May I ask in advance to start at the end of the grid? Tongue

We couldn't miss this classic video:

Also adding that one thing I don't like of this track is that at some places you can go over the sidewalks without trouble, car should be less permissive at that.

I get my best laps only when I dont touch any sidewalks.
Only shallow one I noticed is after the Hotel chicane, the right downhill turn, Mirabau Bas, the right sidewalk.
I find it safe to pass over there.

I feel a massive front grip if going through the sidewalk there.

this is going to be a very tough (???) one, specialy for the newbees like myself. i'm thinking of not qualifying so i will start at the back. And i have to be sure to be very frosty in the first few laps. pitting yhere feels very odd also. if you're allone it's ok but i guess with many people pitting and having people on track it's going to be exciting also.

one thing i know for sure: "you have to practice a lot around here". :o
