#1
[Image: wIAGBUa.jpg]

Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to Season 7 of our Historic's League.
This season we pick up the younger brother of the classic Lola, the T290. With 4 different engines available it will be up to you to decide which one will fit you best in every track.
This seventh event will take place in Belgium and will be splitted in two 30 min races.
The fastest track of the season, Belgium will bring the closest and most dangerous battles of the whole season. Only those who can keep their foot down the longest time and survive will get the glory.

SR4L wishes you good luck for the season.

Special pitstop instruction for SPA (as posted last year, thanks to DjC for the effort)

You will need to set a 'request pit' button and press it in good time before pitting. Unlike other tracks the pits are on the main straight.

WHEN RACING
On a normal lap when NOT pitting, don't cut the entrance of pit lane.

You can cut the line at your own discretion after the pit entrance. Hitting a pitted car will see you disqualified from the race.

If you decide not to pit after requesting a pitstop, careful not to drive into the pit area or you could get a speeding ticket by the game. Cancel pit request is best thing to do.
When you are low on fuel the game can automatically request the pit crew without you requesting pit, be careful this does not happen if you are cutting into the pit area at full speed or again the game could give you speeding ticket. Cancel this request with the pit request button. This should not be a problem anyway if you follow the above rule of not cutting into the entrance of pit lane.

How is practice going?
I've been away from simracing all week, busy with work.
Shortly a couple of new polls will be added. One to chose the final car for the next league and the other for the tracks selection.

Not bad. You still on top Gorka.
I find it tricky driving a setup with low wing, a bit slip and slide. More so when driving in someone's slipstream.
Just got to keep it on the road for the main races.

And I might skip this one too Sad No practice so far and I will go away this weekend. I will probably be back in time for the race but without practice and also I will be in Barcelona or Brighton next race so this season is already f*cked ;D

If I get home in time on Sunday and feel alright (it's Valborg here in Sweden, i don't really know what it is but we light a big fire and drink a lot), I might join you guys just for the fun.

Sounds good, Valborg, almost same as Greek Orthodox Easter Sunday here, family gathering with plenty of food and drink, hope I will be sane enough to join race ;D

My time is still the fastest on the server?

I though by this moment Rik and you would be like 10 seconds faster.... Big Grin

Not easy driving here, you can go for a car with a happy tail but that makes a very tricky first half. You can go for a more understeery car, feel more comfortable on the first half but then lose it all the advantage on the second.
I will remail with the happy tail setting, that's how I feel more comfortable driving.... but it's a lot risky. I'll try to do practice tomorrow and try to keep without crashing for a full stint (and also practice pitstops, have practice none yet).

Lol, I did a couple of laps earlier this week and my last one I thought was really good, but it showed later that I was 4 tenths behind you anyway. Made me realise that my current setup was not "happy tail" enough. I'm currently using one of Ed's setups that I have modified to suit me better and it has worked really good for the 2-3 latest tracks. But I suspect that the suspension is a bit too soft for the fastest corners of this track. If I have time on Sunday I'll try my old setup before the race ;D

But when it's race, 4 tenths is nothing at this track because of slipstreaming Tongue
