Gather from 7:00PM UK time (6:00 GMT, 8:00 CEST)

Finishing positions of each race will be reversed for the next starting grid.
Race sessions will be rapidly advanced to Warmup soon after the last racer has crossed the finish line.
Nominal warm-up between each race while grids are set - keep an eye on the chat window as if everyone is ready to go, we will… Shout out if you need a quick break.
A predictably small (but quality ) turnout last night for the inaugural1973 911 RSR fun races…
For some reason, it was quite late in the proceedings when I realised my FFB was running at 100% in-game as I’d not driven the car since updating to the latest version… DD wheels, eh?:p
I’ll try to load the next track on Friday. Can any of the cast of the 911 champ series recommend the pick of those tracks? Can’t guarantee we’ll revisit them as we need to keep laptimes around the sub-2-mins mark ideally, but open to suggestions….
Mosport was a good venue with these , oulton fosters circuit is fun
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it

Did not think anyone would be racing however now that you are back to the RSR again, I will not be participating. Getting daja vu

Well, i’ve tried Merc 190es, Datsuns, Nissans, Mazdas, the 911, the Lola T290…. You’ve fallen out with all of them at some point…
With the proviso that SR4L’s tagline is ‘race the classics’ (and freeware mods rather than paid content where possible), what *will* tickle your fancy?
check out the lada's , beetles and daft as you may think the reliant robins

You are correct, I seem to have a love hate relationship with the classic cars and do appreciate that SR4L is all about classics. I am not suggesting you change just for me and I do appreciate you asking what will tickle my fancy.
I just thought I would tell you that I would not be joining in as opposed to saying nowt and just not showing up Wednesday nights. I go through fases and at the mo the classics are making me grumpy
Anyway as, JR so elequently put it, I will just play some arcade games to while away the time :p
Sorry guys had to leave i was a liability , had more injections in my eyes today and cant see properly

Ouch - don’t tell my partner - she was traumatised by injections in her eyes as a child!
Well my late post on the S397 forum did bring in a few new names - but a number of them found the (car mostly, I think) a big challenge out of the box and I don’t think the frenetic nature of the Fosters layout helped them!
I’m thinking CTMP (Mosport) or perhaps the new version of Assen that surfaced over Christmas (although it’s a bit flat for me but may help people achieve a setup more easily).
As usual, aim to raise the next track tomorrow (Friday) and will try to publicise it a bit in external forums too.

Would be good for a future event.
Video is from a different game, but sure we could have Epic battles like this.
Give no nonsense about it being flat .
Give the Lada's a go , they are a lot more fun than you think

That was quite a blast - the last few races with heavy rubber were real ding-dongs in the pack! Maybe DJC could be persuaded to knock up a few clips of the action….
Apologies all round for anyone who fell off without a deserved post-race acknowledgement. The driving standards in such close-quarter racing seemed very high but I know I personally saw a couple of cars disappear from view in the melee and crossed my fingers that I’d not accidentally run anyone off the road.
Mosport really suited the RSRs - more flowing corners than some of the abruptness of Oulton Fosters for instance.
Good to see at least one repeat visitor from the S397 contingent too - I’ll try to widen the advertised net further and see if we can’t bring a few more in.
Next track? I’ve a shortlist of three tracks we’ve not been to on Wednesday nights to look at. Hockenheim (for DJC), Assen (new version recently released…) and Willow Springs (referred by one of the S397 visitors). Server will be up on Friday at the latest.
