Tuesdays from Nov 19th
#1
From this Tuesday (or maybe just ‘this Tuesday’!)…

Lotus Cortina’s - using a League Edition of the v0.400 mod - restricted to the Road Car class and without the option to change performance using the Customisation menu…

The League Edition was a bit quick and dirty - I know that at least one of the skin icons is broken but beyond that, I’ve not tested it. Please report any issues here.

The first race is at Goodwood v1.9 https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/file...3013644697

The car *can* be downloaded from the server *but* it will be very slow and will hog my broadband. Please download from Mediafire instead.

Live timing is back up (we don’t have a fixed IP so every time my BB resets, the timing dies and the Favourites option in the server list will break too….)

Myles, To make it load faster you can get rF2 Log Analyzer to remove all log files where the session had no drivers in it.
You can do this by clicking:-
* Options tab (top of the page)
* General menu (on the left)
* Tick: Remove logs without lap times on refresh
* Tick: Remove logs without drivers on refresh
* Apply changes

* refresh

I not tried it, but I guess it should work better.

Tuesday 26th is at Knockhill in the League Edition Lotus Cortinas (Road spec).

Please download track (v1.8) from Steam Workshop if possible (it will be very slow and sucky from the server).

Tuesday December 3rd - Lotus Cortinas LE (Road) at Crystal Palace 1969.

Use this link to get to a Steam collection containing both the base track file (v1.1) and the graphics update (v1.2):

Laptime seems to be around the same as Knockhill last night so we'll go for 8 laps again.

I'd like to run a higher spec of the Cortinas,
or maybe the Lada https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...2354110610
or maybe the Ferrari P3/4 and GT40

Which Spec, Ed?

I can probably produce another LE with a locked-down spec fairly easily.

SCB have sent me a link to the Ferrari/Ford though - and although I think we toyed with the Skodas a Christmas or two back but only off road…. Undecided

I don't mind but probably not the cosworth engine as I remember that feeling a bit too much. Sorry I don't have the rig running to dig into the details.

I’ll see what I can do tomorrow. It will be easy for me to just do an engine upgrade - not sure we need suspension options. Then maybe switch cars entirely for the 17th.

Thinking about it, it's the suspension I'd really like to upgrade if that's OK. The road suspension isn't very refined on the limit.

I just tried the options out and think it would be fun to race the historic race cars with the 1965 150BHP engine with historic racing spec suspension and stock front anti roll bars.
