I'm a new member. Don't really care if I'm on a team right now. I'm just getting my feet wet and want to see how this goes. My picking of a mate or being picked is an absolute crap shoot. Can we be privateers?

You don't have to be in a team. It's purely for fun and designed to keep both ends of the standings interested.
