Personal/Team League Skins

Can we make it a rule that drivers cannot drive official races wearing the skin of another member?

This was my next post in the 'did you knows' thread but it got locked before I could post:

Lol, Ricky you're sacked! No points and i'd already blown the team budget many times over with repairs!

But seriously, people shouldn't use the custom skins of other members in official league races. No harm done but our sponsors might smoke us for it if it happens again ;D

If you would like a custom skin you can make a request and someone will help you out, maybe not me at the moment though, got a bit of a backlog of them to finish first!

I also see it as a compliment. I've seen Ricky and other drivers using my JPS skin.
BUT, to be perfectly honest... It's my personal skin and helmet with personal logos and stuff on it, and sometimes even my name on it, so that's why I have made a 'public' version of it so I'd appreciate if you guys use it instead.

I do, it's nice to see people using the skins you've spent time creating. But in the case of league races, i'd rather other drivers weren't running my skin with my name and number on it. After all, it's purpose is to uniquely identify me and is especially important in the case of people not using bits of the HUD or floating tags over the cars.

I don't want this coming across the wrong way, i'm not being protective over the design or anything like that. I haven't actually finalised the design, the current one is WIP so i've not released a generic one.
Ricky if you would like your own personalised version of this skin I would happily make it for you, name, number, team name on nose etc. and any colour alterations you would like. The final version when I finally finish it will be much better than the current version, it's a bit rough just now.

I have very little input here but I always raced using a personalized skin or generic. I would never run with someone else's creation. It is a compliment to your skinning skills but I feel every driver should run their own. If someone needs a skin I may be able to get JP out of retirement and have him help out....:-)
