Hi all,
Due to the join-button saga, we are postponing SR4L's 1960s F1 league round 13 @Zolder for 2 weeks.
We are still not sure when the fixed build will be released and we don't want to clash with USR's schedule so the next league race will be held Sunday 23-3-2014
Cheers,
Marcel.

Another weekend without action But it was nice to postpone 2 weeks, thanks. Maybe we won't even have a stable build next week, who knows?
Unfortunately a fun event this sunday would experience the same issues as league race (join button, or use of older build that not everyone have installed), so I guess that's not really possible..

Maybe a fun event could be possible? We can all install 515 to a separate folder, for fun event we will only need one mod and one track it will not take long at all. Obv getting 515 server up somewhere may be an more of an issue, don't know.
Be good if something was to happen, everything is dead, all my races cancelled everywhere now for 2 weeks, ISI really should have got the join button alone fixed this week I despair at them sometimes.

Don't know if you know but there is a problem with this track in that you lose a lap if you pit.
I guess it's no problem that it's same for everyone, but if you need to do 2 pits or maybe a drive through for speeding then your race is buggered. Me that does the points table would have no idea where to place the person in the results if this happens to them. Once a person is not on the lead lap the results only show plus how many laps they behind and not in time.
My 20 day trial of 3DSimed ended so can not look at track to see what's up.
It's odd as I do not remember this in our F2 race.

Maybe we could opt for an alternative track?

Could this be build-related? I'd like to wait a little more for new build, which I hope to be released before the weekend...
If not build-related, we'll have a quick poll with some options and go with that.

I tested the pits in build 382 and it's just the same.
Tonight SR4L server dead, so did a 10 lap 60s F3 race on another server, different track. I did 2 drive throughs and then a pit for fuel, no pit bug, won the race too .

This just came in
Tim Wheatley;256272 Wrote:The extended testing in unstable, along with Jeremy working on it, has found a number of reasons, including one that has been around a long time but obviously wasn't affecting enough people to ever be reported.
Experiments certainly aren't necessary with 494, that's what the unstable is/was for. The only workaround I trust, and that's because the league I am used it successfully, is to relaunch the server at set times, and get everyone in right after it comes back on the MM, after that it wasn't joinable with any real consistency. So getting in the server as soon as it goes up was the way to do it.
I think this answers all.

What does it answer? We should restart the server multiple times to get everyone in?
Yesterday, restarting the server did not seem to help. And still we can be affected by the join/leave bug
Any league race with build 494 is imho just insane. Let's see how it goes with usr league this sunday...lol.
