Sim Racers 4 Life are pleased to announce that season 4 (Brabham BT20's) is now open for sign up's. We are planning to start this season on the 1st of June.

Go to the http://League Site to sign up.

*On the Website homepage go to League Site and sign up.

*Along the top tab go to Drivers.

*In the drop down menu go to Edit Data.

*Go to Seasons.

*Choose the season you wish to race in e.g. SR4L 1960's Brabham League

*Edit that season with your car number and real name.

More news to follow.

but only after going back to last years post on sign up and reading exactly how to do it. I know, I know - it's me not remembering. but anyone new, would not know how either.. might be a good idea to add that to this thread
I will be limited this summer, partly because it is Summer and I hope to be changing some parts on my computer. that is an "when I get the $$'s thing"

Nice! Oh is that why everyone were driving the Brabham yesterday?

It's a nice car. Not as much power and easier to drive than the 1968 cars. I think we'll have some tight good racing with these..

I suspect we will use similar tracks for this season, and many tracks will be same as last season? Brianza (maybe skip the 10k version this time?), spa, nords, monaco is a must But we should try some new tracks. Maybe replace those not-so-good-looking conversions with something else for example. I wouldn't mind some modern track.

If you want to include an oval again, I guess Indianapolis by ISI will be released soon..

We should check on more releases of old tracks (I preffer keeping it as old as it can according to the cars).
We got Jarama 1979 which we haven't raced yet.
Has the old Nords been fixed? I'd prefer racing there instead of the new version.

About the oval. I like ovals but I fear Isi's Indianapolis. Modern ISI's tracks take way too much fps.

Will we still be racing 2 - 30 minute races? I'd like to go to a higher level (like making the jump to a single 1h race) but that may not be to the liking of most people.

For the league it will mainly be 2 30min races but we are going to start the fun events again and these can be any format we like, so no reason we can't run some mini endurance events.

There is a large list of tracks being discussed at the moment so if you have any favourites or preferences let us know so we can discuss them.

here are a couple suggestions for tracks we have not used- and would be good in a brabham

long beach
bathurst

Suzuka


.starter list....there are alot more...no need to keep competing on the same tracks every season

It would be nice to recreate the 66 season not sure all the tracks are out yet-
