Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to round 2 Season 4 of our Historic's League. This round see's us at Malaysia and promises to be an action pack event. Tyre wear and a cool throttle control could be the key to finishing this round. Flooring the throttle certainly wont help with this round unlike Brianza in the last round.
SR4L wishes you good luck for the season.

13 laps will take approx 30 mins. It's just much easier to manage with a set amount of laps.

June 15, I finally notice, is Father's Day in the USA. Many people call me a "mutha" but my family will be up to something, nonetheless. Not sure when, though. Which leaves my entry in this event up in the air. And I was SO hoping to show off 1959nikos paint job!

damn turn 3. It's driving me mad at trying to find the balance there, affecting the rest of the lap's performance if struggling with understeer. .

I just tried joining 3 other drivers on the practice server. First time, I joined and got out on track and then lost connection. Second time, I got to the driver list screen and then lost connection. Any suggestions? My connection is fine for all other online tasks and sims. Do I need to change my rF2 connection settings for this server? TIA

I don't think you have to Jimmy, it should be fine just as is.....does this make sense ??? Servers have always been fine but somehow last few weeks joining and connection problems seem to occur more often. Maybe a soon to be released new build with 64bit exe will solve some mp connection probs.

I just tried again to join during qualifying. Just got past pit exit and lost connection. Also rF2 froze and stopped responding. I had to use Task Manager to end it. The same thing happened on my second attempt as mentioned above. Just now, before I tried to join the sr4l server, I joined an ISI server with no problems. Does seem a bit strange. Other drivers were on the server when I tried to join in all three attempts. Maybe the server can't believe how good looking the skin is that nikos made for me.
On a whim, I tried to join once more using a stock skin. I was able to join and participate. (Thanks for the setup, nikos.) So what did I do wrong when installing the new skin? I re-named it when I put it in the proper folder on my computer. Is the skin already on the server with another name, causing a conflict?

It shouldnt be a problem, just try to keep the name of skin low on letters and ALWAYS have "alt" in it.

I'll check the name again.
I changed the name as you suggested and had no problems online. Thanks. I'm planning to make this event tomorrow.

Oh, I thought maybe I have chances for a good enough excuse, well ... was at Nordschleife this weekend and drove it for the first time by myself in my shitty 110PS very old VW Passat (scary, next to all those fast cars), and as a co-driver in a Porsche 911 GT3 991 with no other cars on the track, very fast but not as scary as my ride ;D
