A cracking night again yesterday with the SCB boys (see Tue Fun & Just 4 Fun area below) - and it sounds as if they’ll be out in force on Tuesday here with the Lotis Cortina’s at Knockhill. Please come join us (and SCB) - there’s a good range of ability so always someone to jostle with!
The road-going Lotus Cortinas appeared to be quite well received last night - they handle well out of the box (good job as there is almost nothing you can change!) and on the right tracks should keep us going for a few weeks.
...or open steam, go to your library and right click on rf2, select Properties, then General and then type "+trace=3 +traceFlush +connect 87.80.46.103:45899" with no quotes into the 'Advanced users///' text box. Then launch the game normally - it should take you straight in as long as my ip hasnt changed again!
The matchmaker sometimes struggles with the search. Try 'TUEFUN' and wait until it has stopped refreshing. Quite often you'll see it flash up as you type, but it is slightly more reliable if you wait for the refresh to finish. ALso try ordering by clicking on the Server Name heading. IP address changes every time my power goes down (rather a lot just now...) so the Favourite markers aren't that useful.
Server is back up properly. It was some kind of packaging error - I’ve recreated it and I’ve now successfully connected. Apologies about that!
But the mod (TueFun-Goodwood-LotCorLE) installed and i can use it to race in single player.
I downloaded the cortina and installed it but cannot join server. Error is "Unable to install server mod, most likely cause is missing content"

I've created a League Edition (LE) of the v 0.400 Lotus Cortinas which only contains the road cars with no performance upgrades allowed. It is a bit quick and dirty so please let me know if there are any issues (I know about a missing icon or two...). This Tuesday will be Lotus Cortina’s at Goodwood 1.9 - we’re trying to lock the cars down to modest engine specs but are struggling. If you want to practice before the server is up, choose the base-spec Road Car option.
Cracking racing with SCB on their Thursday server again tonight - check out the ‘associate server’ thread in the Tue Fun & Just4Fun zone below and join, Cruicky, Ed (sometimes!), Bruce, Tim, Jonathan and myself from 7;30PM (practice) weekly.
