Any recommendations for a new wheel?

My Clubsport Wheelbase 2.5 is turning off all the time now. Was there a particular firmware I should try?

GPU is 980ti

The 0.82 version (main server) performs better for me. Lowest fps was 67 briefly at the start but much higher during the lap. 1.22 (alt server) was in the 50s at more than one corner.

Two versions of brands are now up to allow folk to identify which has best GPU performance. One has v1.22 (source uncertain but I normally load that one) and one has v0.82 from https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...2364766667 Please try both and report back if one performs better for low spec GPUs (Cruicky, John Laing) than the other.

Cracking racing last night and the full grid of GTR LE cars are showing no signs of wearing thin according to the feedback on the night. Tuesday20th will be at Brands Hatch (v1.22) - the server is up but a) I’m away from Thursday to late Sunday and b) I might not have the best version of Brands so keep an eye out for my lte track-version changes on Monday.

Tonight’s attendance looks as if it might be quite good with John Laing and Jeff both expected to join. For what it’s worth, all of the cars seem to be pretty equal in ultimate lap time so pick what feels best for you.

Tuesday 13th - the full set of League Edition GTR cars (including Bizzarini and Porsche 904) at Watkins Glen International. Note that we are running two servers - there is also a Just4Fun server running the same cars at Eiffel Sudstrecke (Sudschleife). In my opinion the Sudschleife is far too long for Tuesday racing and the short version of the track (actually a completely separate rf2 track called Eiffel Betonsomethingorother) is too short.

Tuesday - Plan A (by ongoing request) is the usual cars at Zandvoort Historic (Sandevoeder Historic - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...3428622200). Note that a second server is also running with the ‘50s cars (e.g. Mazarati 250F etc.) at the same track. Interestingly, I managed a very similar lap time in the 250F compared to my usual Ferrari 250GT…

Sadly not. While testing there were lots of phantom wheel buttons being pressed and I wasn't pressing them. Something is not right.

TUESDAY - One more week of the GT Revival LE cars? This week at CTMP (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...1885152462) - haven’t had a chance to test it but should be fun! Please let me know if there are any problems.

Christmas time trial server is up (search for SR4L as usual in the Community Servers list). We’re racing the Hotlap layout of Historic Spa (v3.0 - Steam workshop) in cars such as the McLaren M1B, GT40 etc. from the GT Revival pack we’re racing on Tuesdays. Tuesday Fun is still on - we’re continuing to race the GTR Stirling Moss cars - this time at Atlanta Motorsports park (a free S397 track available from Steam Workshop).
