Thursday Fun! Affiliate server - SCB Server 1 - Myles (Mr Fox) - 23-08-2024
Guys & gals - SR4L are not the only group that are passionate about enjoyable racing in rf2 but are struggling for regular drivers…
We are in contact with a group of Thursday night racers via stu3284 who organises races on SCB Server 1 (password scb). Stu plans to reciprocate by flagging our Tuesday night races - hopefully we can build a bigger rf2 community between us.

Quick reminder - the current SR4L server is *not* on a fixed IP address - you cannot ‘favourite’ it on the rf3 matchmaker. Sorry!

Practice - 30 mins
Qualifying - 15 mins
Race - 3 x 15 Reverse Grid (with option to do additional race)
Our next Tuesday track will be loaded on Saturday. Please note that Mauro has alerted us to a potential update to the Cooper T73s - please allow time to update before connecting!

That's great thank you. We run a practice server all week, it's up now if you want to try it. Same details as above. . I hope we can both increase numbers..
I usually swap over to the Race Server at 17:15 so practice on the night is really open from then.

Guys - apologies - I’ve been suffering from severe coughing fits that have been getting worse since my various audio interruptions on Tuesday. Failed to get an appointment yesterday and am about to try again today.
I did actually completely forget about the SCB race as I was pretty exhausted - but I wouldn’t have been in a fit state to drive sensibly anyway. Hope you had fun and I’ll try to join in future.

I'm sorry to hear that, Myles. Hope you get the appointment and feel better soon. Thursday racing was a lot of fun. David and I joined from here and had some good races. Tim also joined the server mid race but didn't stay for the next race. It felt very social with most of the 8 or so racers on the Discord chat.

Cool. I managed to grab an appointment first thing and the good news is that I don’t have a lung infection and just need a bit of help managing the coughing for a while. Google thought whooping cough was a possibility (it’s been spiking in Scotland recently) - thankfully sounds like it isn’t that - which is nice as it’s also known as the 100 day cough!
