I missed the qualifying session because of some household duties that couldn't wait, apparently. So I joined the server but too late to put in a lap. Also I had issues with stuttering gameplay (throttling) and I couldn't fix this in time because the race already started. So I apologies to those we got bumped or held back a little.
Despite issues above, I had a good race. Good start got me from the back, up to 10th position. Couple of laps later I got bumped by someone that caused me to go off. Probably because of the lag so no beef from my side. Tried to continue but I gave too much throttle so I span out again. Lost 6 places because of that and did take a while before I regained 10th. Tried to move closer to Mr. Cook, but proved to be too difficult with the lag. Entered the pits early to get another set of tires, luckily my opponent pitted later so I had an easy pass. Finished overall 7th, 4th for the MR01's, so I am pleased. Well done all, A 60 minute race proved to be good fun! PS: Want to thank M. Folcher (Capeta) for some proper tips on the setup! |
