Thanks Paul.

I do have the rattle myself, but I keep the FF multiplier on low. Tosch did make changes as it was reported in last version, I guess if you are reporting it the problem is still there.

k, thanks for reply DJC
low multiplier + high filter will get me through the race, so not that big a problem although a future fix would be welcomed

Experiencing rattling with my G25 while driving on the brighter tarmac. Haven't tried the earlier versions but I assume its not v1.80 specific.
Some of you guys know a way to reduce this, without setting the filter-value too high?
I wouldn't mind some rattling normally but as it will be 21:00 local time when the race starts it is a case of not getting on my neighbours nerves ;D
headphones? works for me -

Well, the noise comes from the steering wheel itself, so headphone (I use one) won't work here.

Hello,
First of all I want to thank DJ and Tosch for all the effort put into this track that I like a lot.
On the other hand, after what we experienced last night in the server I did some laps online and offline this morning.
1) I got glitches/stutters/freezes every 10-20 seconds with 1.8 also offline
2) Since I didn't noticed this with 1.7 , I tried 1.7 and I found this issue with 1.7 too!!!
3) Since I didn't remember to have this issue before I removed everything and installed rfactor from scratch and only nords 1.7 and bt20
4) Glitches/Stutters/freezes are gone
5) I can't not explain it, but I feel much more connected to the road with 1.7 than with 1.8, I am about the same "fast" with both, but I feel my mistakes in 1.7, why I do them (late brake, too soon on throtle, too much speed on corner, unsettled car in the entry, etc...)
6) With 1.8 the car (maybe just my driving of course) bumps suddenly and send me to the wall and I don't know why, I can't get right some of my favourite corners anymore. I don't say this is a bug, I will re-learn the corners if needed, I just tell this in case it gives any clue to nords mod working heroes DJ and Tosch
Cheers

I have noticed some of what Jesus said with 1.80.1 - setup I had for 1.7 is almost un-drivable for this setup. I will have to work on a setup that is drivable. also, I can NOT get into server for 180.1, I get past the password but it will NOT download SR4L mod, it keeps saying "Mod Download Failed"
I know that DJ put a lot of hard work into this mod, hope it can be all sorted out today, as tomorrow is the race. would be nice to settle on what mod, out of three available, that we will be using tomorrow so we can get some testing in.

Yep same for me too , my setup has become unstable and bounces towards the barriers , also noticed last night the cars in front just kept disappearing , tried to get into the server today but get "server connection failed" each time i enter the password , i think we should drop back to 1.7 for the race whilst bugs are ironed out
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it

I tried v 1.80.1 for a lap, all alone in the server. From just that, my first impression is that it drives just like v 1.70. None of the rattling of some parts of the pavement that 1.80 has. Same sort of grip using the same setup I was using for 1.70. I only got a few laps on the server with v 1.80 yesterday, but I would rank the versions: 1.80.1, 1.70, 1.80 in that order. But it needs testing with more drivers.
Paul, the server is set with auto blip off again.

We now have three servers running. Each with the different versions of Nords.
If anyone needs the password, mod or download link for the latest Nords v1.80.1 let me know.
