This is kind of interesting... Bryan sent me a screenshot earlier today and I noticed his textures and lighting effects are much less pronounced than on my PC.

We both have the settings maxed out. I don't see any gamma or brightness settings in rFactor2 unless I missing something...

How bright are the colours on your screens?

Or am I just being silly and is it because Bryan is racing at different in-game hours as he's racing Down Under

My screen is pretty much like yours Tyger , it looks like Bryan has less gamma , maybe his controls on the monitor itself are set to give this effect

I have the same problem I can't get a rich deep colour it always seems to light I can't find any brightness setting either

Can't be the monitor settings deecee, the screenshots aren't affected by the display brightness

I think it might just be the time of day in-game that's making the biggest difference actually. This evening I was racing and had much more similar lighting. Driving in the opposite direction the sunlight was reflecting brightly into the tarmac though.

A couple of things to keep in mind.

[*]We have one race room only. There is 26 grid slots this season. We could have large numbers round 1. Be early to secure a place. Don't sleep in Bryan

I'll be missing tonight's race. Watching F1 till 8 and then doing an iRacing League (dirt oval) been doing for a few months; winning and don't want to lose my lead.

I can't believe that just happened. I had my hands over my face in disbelief.

The only people who restart races are Gorka or myself. If some reason if you miss out, and it's happened to all of us it's simply bad luck. There is way with so many people on the grid to make an informed decision at the click of a button because of one driver. That's not the drivers responsibility. The reason would need to far greater than one drivers issue. Disappointing.

It's easier for me to run the race and deal with one persons disappointment then half the grid.

I agree with the rule "you snooze, you lose".

The start was highly confusing, because people were voting, the vote almost made it, I don't think any admin was giving orders either to say "stop it, just start!", it was the first race of the season, etc. I figured "oh, guess we're doing that?". Then I was left standing in the pits while half the grid departed after all lol

Well, for the next race it's hopefully totally clear now . Just FYI, I think voting can actually be disabled on the server.

I thought the extra time we added before the start was supposed to stop this happening , it obviously didnt work in this case , is something not set correctly ?
We need to have a ruling on practice starts i got taken out and damaged as i joined the grid , maybe no practice starts when 1 min or under to race start
