And not only having found a fix, but hard work from @DJCruicky creating a new collision mesh. He at least should be credited for that.

Thank you Mauro for making contact with the author and for him putting it on his http://Workshop page.
Now that everyone is on the same version things should be a lot smoother from now on with less problems getting on the server. See you on the track.

Will be joining tonight. I've turned everything to lowest settings and it seemed OK last night in quick test. Done a very simple paint for now, will add to it later. See you all tonight. As I am in VR I won't be able to use text chat; I'm not being rude, but by the time I've parked the car taken my headset off put my glasses on and started typing I've forgotten what I was going to say or the moment has gone. I will be on Discord if anyone is up to talking while driving.

That was great racing today. Made a mistkae in the first race with the fuel calculation. With that few laps it can really make a difference when you have to do another lap because the leader made it a bit before the 0 seconds mark across the line. fortunately I had a reserve stop planned in case and could finish the race.
The second race was a nailbiting battle first with Tim, then with stuart Davies with several position changes and mutual overtaking. Some mishap (not sure waht it was, caused us to almost crash and Tim and Rick could slip back in front of us where they were before. Still a great race, looking forward to the next one. best Tobias
Do you even lift?

I don't think rFactor likes me. Lost my VR HUD so was going to race with no HUD (looks a lot more realistic) as the normal HUDs look awful in VR. But got booted from the game and with the new UI in VR it takes too long to re-join. Same as the last race. Pity because other than the HUD problems it was running OK.

Qualifying and Race 1 went as well as they could without drama. @J-P SImard started to put me under pressure towards the end of the race but I managed to retain the lead until the end.
Race 2 was far more interesting. At the start JP seemed to get off the line slowly but @DJCruicky nailed his start and was immediately on my tail. I tried to keep my cool and managed to open a up a bit of a gap. A few laps in I set fastest lap and thought that now I could relax a bit and settle into a comfortable pace. Right at that moment eveything changed. Maybe I could blame the moth that flew in as a distraction, but I got my braking wrong into the hairpin and @DJCruicky got past. I rejoined in front of @J-P SImard and my confidence had taken a knock. Eventually @J-P SImard got past, and then @Ratus , putting me in 4th position. During this time, however, we had some incredibly good respectful wheel to wheel racing. Almost three wide at times if I remember correctly. Towards the end @Ratus was unlucky passing a lapped car and I gained a place but I was unable to challenge @DJCruicky and finished 3rd. Well done @J-P SImard for a solid drive and an impressive comeback.

Nice battles everyone..
The new guy Ratus is very fast. I'm calling him 'Last Lap Ratus' from now on as he always overtakes me on the last lap ![]() Nice 4 way fight in race 2. I got to see what Ed's car looked like at the front, in my mirrors .Should have been a 5 way fight, what happened to D.Coyne? Nice win JPS. You get booted by the game at start of race if you use them. I messaged you in middle of qualify to try to tell you this but I guess you never read it. Onwards to Bathurst where the walls are deadly.

Last lap Ratus, i like that
. But it realy isn't my habitude to push the limit and do "fights" on the last lap. Rather bring it home safe.Had a realy good time again with you SR4L Pilots in this race in Sebring, which offerded some nice possibilitys for "later braking fights". Was nice too see such a constance throu out the field. Had a long 1st gear to better manage the the sharp hander right so i had a slow start and was a little bit in the way. After getting rythm i could follow J-P, Ed and David but had too push to keep up with that fast group, altougt with some seconds distance. At the end i could catch up, i think mostly because they had some wheel to wheel fights and i could drive my line. Didnt feel tyre wear so i tried all and managed to reach P2. On the last lap i had some bad luck or just was to nervous to quickly decide how to overtake a blue flaged pilot (which did nothin wrong). So i lost my fast earnd 2 places again and brang home P4. Overall a very nice race evening. Grats to J-P and all finishers. Thanks for the nice organisation and issues solving, all worked perfect! Cu on track in australia Ratus

Seems a bit daft that the facility to make a team car is still in the UI, when it does not work. Liking Bathurst, just ran an iRacing league race there last week In the GT3 911. Hopefully it'll be third time lucky on the next race.

ricikrick, post: 29657, member: 124 Wrote:Much better stability this weekHi Rick. I have watched the replay of your end of race. It looks like you stopped racing 1 lap too early. You were doing your cooling off lap when you should have been still racing. I watched Mel and Txus overtake you while you were driving slow. Just because you crossed the finish line after the clock has gone to zero, you still have to keep racing until the Lead cars crosses the line. Hope you understand.

They wave a white flag when there is 1 lap to go it has caught me out in the fun races

Even though the races are timed I wish we could set the number of laps.
