Electric Docks... a track well loved for its scenic beauty!
So... at least one tire on track at the blue and white chicane curbs, right?

Just getting though the chicane without getting a cut warning is enough for a Wednesday night fun race, unless you found one huge short cut it's ok.
Track artist did a great job on the track, with Max track detail you get animated trucks driving around the sides of the track .
See you tonight.

Yeah the trucks moving around caught me out at first I was the only driver on the server and as I was exiting a could see a vehicle driving along behind the fence and it really threw me a bit spooky

First time I've done an online event with the track. Was fun.
Not a track I would pick for a 1960s car with the walls and chicanes of death, but with the RSR73 was great.

Great. Two+ weeks of good tracks that I've missed
Thanks @DJCruicky for looking after the Wednesday races while I've been tied up. I should be able to be back online for this week coming.
Any further inspirational track suggestions?

Offline never gave me cut warning. So was surprised Wed p.m. when cut warnings were giving for what I know were "legal" executions! Took all of remining prac and warm up to figure out how to run that first one legally. Always very awkward. Not sure the track benefits from such restrictive curbing. But fun none the less once I figured it out, that is, by about the third race!

But fun none the less once I figured it out, that is, by about the third race! I can’t remember the details but from my work developing the NC version of the Osterreichring earlier this year, I have a vague recollection that there can be a number of configured criteria to the cut-track warnings buried in the track design - including factors such as how out of shape you were when you left the track and (possibly) whether there had been a recent collision event. I’m pretty certain there is a “X strikes in Y laps and you’re out” feature too. This would be on top of any effects from the Flag Rules setting that can be set both offline and in the server.
There might even be session-specific parameters - but I might have imagined that…
Anyway, the bottom line is that the cut track warnings aren’t simply black-and-white!

A while a go we did the Autumn layout of Bridgehampton. How about the Summer layout with the Alfa Romeo 155? (link above)

Possibly time for a change, yes. My intention was to unleash the M1 but that will have to wait a bit.

The Alfa feels very nice and balanced , for once the tyres give grip running higher pressures , this could be a good league car
Understeer - is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer - is when you hit the wall with the back of the car
Horsepower - is how fast you hit the wall
Torque - is how far you move the wall when you hit it
