My "take-away" from the Fun Event:
1. ISI has got to notice that a lot of people love historic open wheel cars with cross-ply tires and minimal/no aero. So many of us have a rich background in Grand Prix Legends and are still looking for its successor. The Eve, Spark, and BT20 are a start, but we want a lot more choices. I'd even pay money for it if a third party does the mod well.
2. Fun Event without a password will attract a big crowd, but will include those looking for a quick pick up race who don't care about pit stops or being careful of each other. However it does attract drivers to SR4L. So is the main goal to attract new drivers or provide fun for members? To do both the events may need to run without pitstops.
3. I prefer running with people I can trust; so I probably won't run open events any more.
4. Even with zero damage, a spin can lead to getting stuck in the scenery and ending a race. First hand experience. Thanks for organizing this.
