I decided(optimistically) to try an SR4L fun event. I managed to finish the first race despite being knocked off 3 or 4 times. 2nd race only got hit once I think, ending up last before I was able to get past the first corner. Interestingly by the end of the first lap I was 3/4 of the way back to where I started. It would seem that trying to win the race on the first lap may not be prudent to getting to finish. Unfortunately I was disconnected from the server(again). Would these events be more fun if we got more "race" track time by being allowed to reconnect? Just a question.
Having x10 fuel consumption usually makes the car handling change much more dramatically(and can be unrealistic, changing over the course of a single lap) due to the weight change. Some struggle with the cars the way they are!
SPA has a lot of road crown effect that can contribute to instability if you are in the wrong place.
Jimmy C has some good feedback.
Multi class open wheel was an interesting twist that added to the fun!
