Really looking forward to this, pretty disappointed in the outcome.
I'm pretty sure I had the best handling car. I could drive any line desired, and it handled the flat nicely. Here is my setup if you want to give it a try. http://USF2kBrookdale.svm Google drive link.
During qualifying I could not get a decent draft. None of the fast guys wanted to play.
Start worked pretty well. I was able to miss the early carnage and worked up to 4th. I was having to lift quite a bit to follow in the draft. I was pretty sure I had a good chance. Then Cook mistakenly thought he was clear. Or maybe he was having trouble driving straight? I was unfamiliar with the yellow flag rules, and got a penalty for passing Miller whom I was supposed to follow. I tried twice to clear the penalty, but under yellow that is not allowed, which makes sense.

Had fun in the middle of the race, and worked my way up to 2nd. I would need gas though.

After getting gas, I came out behind Cruickshank, and hilarity ensued for several laps. I had hoped we could just draft each other and catch some cars, because in practice this week David and I had combined for 34.4 but he wanted to race. Too bad I was faster. Still it was fun until the silly dive at the end.
