my first oval race..
Quali
34.402 was top time(first time sharing first position)Stephen M & me had same time!?The guy seams fast
but to aggressive where is no need to be..I had -0.25 from best time and he ruined my best lap,but i
didnt want to say anything because it happens..But im writing this now because i saw he is complaining
that i went into him in race.
this was in qualy:

Race
Race was good but some guys really needs to think about their driving on league events. I know this
all is for having fun,but some needs to learn basic racing rules if they want to race a online
league. This have nothing to do with FAST vs SLOW drivers we all make mistakes, but if you driving like
you are alone on the track or like there is no one behind you thats another story.
Not caring about many things, blue flags, not holding a line, dive passing, making error and getting back
on race line, non predictable passing, fighting leaders when blue flag...all the thing what leads to potential danger
What is most interesting to me is BLUE FLAG situations. Its most simple thing in racing to do,but some
make it so complicated.
Holding someone more then half lap is ridiculous.Im not even gonna talk about fighting a leaders in BF
situations. You can say whatever you want, but here are few things which dont ask if you are faster or
slower
1) checking the rear view(mirrors) on the straight line to see where the leaders(others)are.is same
thing what leaders do when defending or went to pit and get out lap down.so you must be aware all the
time where others are and who you fighting(then there is hud position thing)
2) knowing where others are you can easy decide what to do.if leaders, hold your line and slightly lift
off.lift on any predictable line can do the job easy(but safest is on first straight line or when next to
each other).but if you decide to do it in corner then you must go wider line, not go wide then dive into
apex.
3) again knowing where your opponents are you can easy decide what to do.defend or stay on racing
line!?predictable move is a key in that kind situations.best way not to lose position if letting
leading car to pass is to take defensive line and slightly lift off when letting leader before braking, and then aim
to hold inside line so car behind cant pass.
4) if you are in battle there is few things you need to know.if you want defending your position or attacking car in front.
make your move much before corner entry(check your mirrors).if attacking/defending car is in inside line, you have to take outside line and be there till corner exit.same goes if you attacking or defending, you need to hold inside line all the way to the exit(thats is how cars next to each other should behave).if defending/attacking car is little in front then he has right to apex and you need to let go that corner and try in another one.
if you are lap down get over it you will not win the race im 100% sure, you dont need to ruin others race.im sure its best to let leaders as quick as possible and then use their draft and try to stay as close as possible, you will lose much less time doing so.but take care at braking points not to be to close.
same like you
new experience to me.shame you have disconnected, you had good race pace after that and nice driving
about reply:clearly Ricky went into you,so yes his fault..
yea same thing happen to me with fuel, didnt know how much fuel to put.i went for 24L or so which was to much and pit time was something like 88 sec..at the end i had to much fuel left
this is what happen at last lap!dont know what to say...you can clearly see cars in front slowing down..

(whoevers fault)??
thx Ricky for blocking me few laps and then running in to me last lap..(last night you were online,at least sorry would be fine)but no hi,bye sorry...anything...nice

Qual.in the middle of the pack,no complaints.
Changed my setup for more aero like 5-10 for stability,as Ricky wrote, and i thought it would be a good idea.
Lap after lap gained confidence.Lap 5 Ricky and Cookie(i think) had a moment(i dont know the rules here and who has right)
and i was p6 behind Dan M.
Lap 20 Dan and Cookie had a moment, safety car was out and i was in 4th place behind Gorka!Like a dream!
Lap 26 the race started again and Ricky from behind had a moment with me,took damage as i hit the left wall and somewhere at lap 49 i had a disconnect ???
Rejoined the race but it was all lost.
Last laps Kiko in front pulled me to finish in good lap times, thanks Kiko!
I uploaded this moment with Ricky, please who is the right one?

DJCruicky Wrote:Yes Gorka, shame about the odd pauses we both had.
I saved a lot of fuel too, and took out some before the pit, but I had no idea how much to take out. My guess was bad because my pit was 15 seconds longer than Gorkas, still had lots left at the end. I'm thinking, like how he 15 seconds ahead?? lol.
Looked like KP had a spin at the end, I stole his 3rd place
CU all in the F2's

Qualified 5th Finished 7th
I think we were all reasonably well behaved
of course there were moments of misjudgement but we were all racing hard
and lap times were very close.
I had 3 moments and managed not to break the car
made an error when pitting i took a full tank and had 20 laps left in the tank at the end
sorry to anyone i had an incident with (whoevers fault)
all in all i thought it was a great race and different
well done everyone
(whoevers fault)??
