The AI in the mod have too much grip, I think. I've put an oval setup on these things and still only manage low 1:03s thus far.

These go faster on the straights than the cars we raced on Sunday, but need to slow down a lot more in the corners. You can power-slide them, but you'll roast the tyres. I'll have to try a long run and see how they last. According to the original developers of the rF1 version, you could expect only about 50-56 laps on a stint. My fuel calculation thus far in rF2 seems to suggest that there's plenty of fuel to last the race (assuming I'm extrapolating correctly), so it'll be all about the tyres.

Initially I had a setup that was loose all the way through the turn. Now I'm running one that is tight in and loose off. I think I prefer the first one but I'm not sure about tyre wear, as that would really cook the right rear, like my F2 setup did.
