Yeah, a little tap on the brakes could be useful, though I tended to lift just before the 1 marker and float it in, then steer with the throttle. Then lifting earlier when I realized fuel was a concern and I could afford to give up some time. Some people were locking up their fronts at the end of each straight -- that won't get the tyres to last! Avoiding any lockups and any smoky slides was the key.

As these are oval cars but they don't come with an oval setup, working out how to make a setup that only wants to turn left was important also.

It would be interesting to do a full 500-mile race (200 laps), which would require pit stops and one or two tyre changes (at least for the right side; the lefts might last the whole race).

A 500 mile race would be a pleasure, but the main problem is that there would be just a few drivers on track.
