As one who seldom finishes in the top ten this usually does not affect me. On the rare occasion I have finished tenth and have got pole It is usually a tight first few corners while the fast guys manage to get past. Other than accidents the fastest guys finish near the front and slow guys further back. So reverse grids can cause a lot of problems. Not sure if it can be done quickly but weight penalties would seem a better way of equalling out the field. If it is not easy quick to add ballast even fuel could be added or maybe an extra pit stop. Anything to solve start mayhem.
