Sim Racers 4 Life - BT20 League - Round 2 - Oulton Park
#3
I don't know if other drivers using clutch+manual gears are having this same problem I'm having here.
I've done some practice online, with little rubber on track. When shifting up on the exit on some bumpy corners I'm having big issues with rear tires getting a sudden wheelspin and having big diffculties trying to have the car under control.
I'm not sure but I guess drivers using autoclutch will avoid this problem. The moment I shift up and fully release the clutch while pressing full throttle while in bumps make the rear tires to spin and the tail to wander out of control.
This has happend to me mainly on three places: The back straight (change from uphill to downhill while going from 4th gear to 5th), at the following left hander and also turning left heading for the finish line.
I think this has something to do with clutch delay. Doing a quick gear up change makes for the delay to end just as I lifted the clutch, as clutch is already lifted, the sim does a sudden clutch engaging causing to bring all engine power straight to the tires with no delay.
I don't I'm explaining myself properly, but it is as if I changed gear without lifting up throttle due to that delay, causing that sudden car reaction.

I hope having more rubber on track will slightly help.
