Qualifying:
Did a 3.45.3 which was a compromised lap. In the last sector I had one person in front of me, was far away in the beginning of the last sector and at La Source hairpin he ran a bit wide and I had to commit to the lap, because at Spa you don’t get that many flying laps, he still tried to continue on his lap and I still tried to leave him space but still trying to get as much speed out of the corner, but we still touched and it think it cost me about 0,2-0,6sec. Could have made the difference between 6th and 5th place for me, but now I could start at the outside of the track.
Race 1:
EXTREME LUCK I had in this race. Had a poor start but didn’t lose any places. I only lost some time to the front runners, but got back to the group in sector 3. Then I was cautiously stuck behind David Coyne waiting for a good opportunity. At the final big straight I had enough speed to overtake David, but at the same time there was that HUGE accident and I was extremely lucky to not hit any cars. I only hit a barrier which damaged my left front suspension a bit.

Stayed out to see what the damage was like, it was tricky but not too dangerous. David pitted the lap before me. I came in for my pitstop at lap 3. Did not repair the damage, just did my tires and came out 7 secs behind David. I couldn’t keep up with his pace, because of my broken suspension. Had a gap of 5 seconds to the guy behind me, which was closing at 1 second a lap. David had a penalty which gave me the lead of the race and only just managed to keep it before the flag.
I was so happy that I won my “home” race
.
Race 2:
Very unlucky this time! I got an awful start! I lost 4 places before Eau Rouge even though I started in pole. Two cars touched at Les Combes and with all the smoke I hit one of the cars at pretty low speed and because of some rFactor physics it made my car flip wild over the barriers into the trees and when I tried to get back onto the track I got DQ for driving in the wrong direction.

Race 3:
I started on pole again thanks to the reverse grid. I had a good start, was able to hold the lead. David Coyne was already behind me again. Big respect to him, I had really good clean fights with him, I could trust him that he wouldn’t turn into me and leave me the space. I really enjoyed racing against him. Even though it got close some times

He passed me before the end of lap 1 and I made a small mistake at Eau Rouge and lost 2 seconds to him. Marcel was now 1.2 seconds behind me. I had a brilliant sector 2 and sector 3 and at the end of lap 2 I closed the gap to less than a second! Marcel was still breathing in my neck with 1 second behind me. David pitted at lap 2, which I found a really strange decision. Marcel passed me before the Masta Kink, but I was trying to do the same thing to him the next straight and tried to get as much speed as possible out of the Masta Kink. But I hit the UNDISTRUCTABLE fence with 1cm of tire and completely destroyed my car. Really a shame because I was fighting for a podium finish.

Overall great racing, even though I only managed to complete 1 race. So thanks to SR4L and everyone for a great night racing.
Kind regards,
