Qualify:
I ran the first laps with race fuel, trying to set a competetive lap. I was pretty happy with a 15.2 until Gorka ducked under that time and after a quick smoke, I decided to go out, about 7 minutes to go, with fuel for only about 3 laps or so. I had Everon in front of me when I came out of pits so I backed out a little to have some free space and after my outlap, I saw my first sector was 2 tenths slower than Gorka's so I steered as precise as possible, brake as late as possible at Blanchimont and La Source and it got me 14.7. A surprise for me, actually and the 1st 14er without tow for me on this server
Race 1:
My start was not bad at all this time (I have a habit of ruining my starts). Some nice slipstreaming after Gorka had let me go before Eau Rouge but unfortunately, coming up to Masta, Gorka was aside of me and DJC and DC were also close. I had to let Gorka go before Masta and tried to stay as close as possible entering the chicane to not let anyone else pass but I discovered too late that DJC was also beside me and a fatal crash was born. Maybe I should have eased off but then I'd had to let DC go as well, maybe others too... Very tough call...

So I was a little sour after that and had a little moment of thinking about calling it a day but I didn't.
Race 2:
From 10th place, I knew it would be difficult but the grid was altered and I found myself almost next to Gorka!
My start was good enough again and soon Gorka and I we're doing what we we're supposed to do the first race, battling for the slipstream and the race became quite tactical. ( is that ok English?)
The one in front at the last part of the lap is most likely to get over s/f first ( oh really? lol) , so I managed to change the sequence in which Gorka and I traded places along the laps and that did the trick

Race 3:
From the back, I figured it would be impossible, even after my victory in race 2. The start I took easy while seeing Gorka having a blistering start. I still overtook some cars and managed to avoid the mayhem, catching Martin Cooper and DJC.
Martin was really friendly to not make it too hard for me so DJC was next. Having spend hours with him while testing last week, I knew I was in for some action, especially because Martin was, the way I felt it, helping DJC to get in my slipstream and damn, what a battle it was, again! Unfortunately, DJC white-posted himself as he said later after the race so with a 5 second gap to Martin Cooper who finished well deserved 2nd, I could bring the victory, while starting last, home.![[Image: funky.gif]](http://wiege.home.xs4all.nl/smilie/funky.gif)
A special moment for me, really, on a special track with some special guys, what is there more to want?
ok, pitbabes, and champagne lol
Thanks all! 8)
