Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to our 4x4 Championship.

As a lead up to our up and coming League event we are running a mini championship comprising of 4 Races over 4 weeks.
Rnd1 Kicks off with the 1954 Endurance 2ltr Class at 1966 Hockenheim track
Rnd2 Is the battle of the Datsuns and Celica at Bridgehampton
Rnd3 Will be a taste of oval racing with the Indy Carts 1985 at Indianapolis Oval
Rnd 4 The ultimate challenge, Porsche 917's at Nordschleife.

Season Rules and Calendar:

Rules are simply, enjoy the racing. Pit stops will be optional. This is a lead up event to our 2019/20 League and is designed to challenged the drivers with the main purpose of having fun.

- Scoring points:

1st place: 50 points
2nd place: 40 points
3rd place: 35 points
4th place: 30 points
5th place: 25 points
6th place: 20 points
7th place: 14 points
8th place: 13 points

Wednesday Night Test Event - Porsche 917's @ Imola

Ok chaps and chapesses , if anyone is about tomorrow night (Wednesday) I'd like to try an alternate race evening format as a fun event but to test the water for next winter's midweek series.

The format is :-

2 Races - 1@15 mins (sprint) and 1@35 mins (Feature)

Fuel x 3
Tyres x 3
Track - Autodromo di Imola (Senormen)
Cars - Porsche 917
Setups - fixed
Weather - sunny
Timescale x 4

Qualy for race 1 - single flying lap in an 8 min session starting at 7.45pm (UK Time)

Grid for race 2 - Reverse finishing order from Race 1

With fuel and tyres set to x3 it means the sprint race will be just that but a pit stop will be needed for the feature race. Tyres should last full distance but the wear in the tyres and lightening fuel loads should make the feature race a bit more challenging without compromising flat out racing too much.

Set ups are fixed so we all have the same equipment.

The SR4L server is up and you should have both the mod and the car as they have both been used previously

Qualy is 7.45pm and race two will start approx 7 mins after race 1 (To allow me to jig the grid around).

Please come along and show your support, even if it's only for the sprint race.

The group C Cars will race in the 1991-1996 version of Le Mans.
Race will have time acceleration so during the 2 hours of the race a day-night-day transtition should occur (Be ready to have a button assigned for the headlights)

On behalf of Admin and all members we would like to congratulate J-P Slmard on a great season. J-P showed amazing consistency throughout the year finishing in the top six in every race, winning six of the 16 rounds. An impressive effort given the standard of the field. Also congratulations DJ and Ed on great seasons. Well done to all competitors, we hope you had some great battles during season.

Great to see new members filtering in. Tygernoot and Antti personally for me a real compliment to SR4L they joined us given their experience just to name a couple this season.
Behind the scenes, Gorka with back end operations and never missed a beat, Tim with the great race reports, DC great technical input in our league chats, Paul Swire keeping the website in order. Finally the SR4L Members, an outstanding group that should be congratulated on the amazing attitude here that this league was built on. Well done all... and stay tuned.

Sim Racers 4 Life - 1976 F1 Season - Final Round Japan

Sim Racers 4 Life welcomes you to our 1976 F1 Season.
Three cars will battle for the 1976 championship, The Brabham BT44B, the Mclaren M23 and the March 761. Will you be James Hunt this season? Join us and show your skills.

Please Read The Rules Before Entering This Event

Season Rules and Calendar:

- The 1976 season will consist of 16 races that will take place once every two sundays. (see the list of tracks below)

- Three cars will battle in the championship. The BT44B, March 761 and the Mclaren M23.

- Drivers taking part in the championship will have to pick up on of the three cars and keep using it for the whole season (Whatever you chose for race 1, keep it for the remaining of the season)

- Every racing event will consist of:
120 minute practice session starting 17:35 British time
30 minute qualifying session starting 19:25 British time
7 minute warmup
Race (aprox 60 minutes)

- Pitstops. Drivers won't have to do a mandatory pitstop during the race. It will be up to every drivers' race strategy.

-There will be no speed limit at the pitlane (therefore using the pitlane to gain an advantage such as lapping faster or overtaking a car will end in a DQ)

- Scoring points:
