Palm Beach in brief

Some great racing on the night and again Wiegers, Santisteban and Cruickshank sharing the honours with a win a piece for the evening. Great drives by Coyne and Reid in races two and three respectively both getting podium finishes. Other consistent drivers for the night, Minga, Fisk, Tumbus, Baumann, Everon, De Robertis and Jesus with a miraculous Easter Sunday come back all featuring in the 10 ten over the three racers.
Wiegers holds on to a good lead in the championship over Santisteban with Cruickshank in third. Teams are heating up, Lowland leading leading the way with Will Race for Food eating there way back. The fight for third is close with Swirey Deejay, Billy Cart Bangers and DaVit fighting an intense battle for the third place trophy.

Yet again a great turn out given the fact it was Easter. Buckle up for the big challenge this Sunday and good luck to everyone, it'going to be one helll of a race.

Round 5 Lime Rock Run Down ,
and we thought Monaco was a hard nights racing...

Lime Rock pushed drivers skills and tried there patients. With 18 drivers competing on this small tight track it was always going to be a tough night behind the wheel.

Race 1 saw the usual suspects up the front Wieger, Santisteban and Cruickshank spraying the champagne over the pit babes. Great result too for Jason Reid in his first league race with SR4L who at one point was fighting for first, well done Cook, Minga, Johnson, Neela and Everon all in the points.

Race 2 Wiegers continued his good form with yet another win closely followed by Santisteban and your truly further back. The top ten points were shared around again with rivals Niko and Vittorio continuing there fight for those hard to get points.

Race 3 Mr. Consistent Cruickshank has to rear his head at least once per event and has a knack of doing it in the reverse grid races this time was no exception with a well earned win. Marcel took second while Jason Reid stood on the podium with a great drive for third. The fast DC taking some good points while Fisk, J.Poehlman, Minga, Johnson and can't spell his surname Niko all finishing in the top ten.

Teams: Lowland have a good lead on what looks like a close fight the remaining places. Will Race for Food will need a new member as Stefan M won't be racing the rest of the season. Gorka will be keen to sign a new member.

Great turn out again by the SR4L member with 18 drivers on track for the night.

Round 4 Monaco Race Report,
what a round of racing it was.

Race 1,
We saw 10 drivers DQ which really sums up Monaco and how hard it is just to finish a lap let alone a full race. DC took the win followed by John Cook and Vittorio. New member Tom Johnson getting himself in the points finishing with a nice 7th.
Race 2,
A familiar face returned to the podium and a much needed win for Marcel with the in form DC taking second followed again by John Cook yet again in third.
Race 3,
Race 3 was a great fight between the dynamic duo Marcel and David Cruickshank with Marcel coming out on top tight battle and yours truly in 3rd place still with water logged ears.

Five drivers managed to finish all three races, Neela, Tom, Vittorio, Cookie and Giorgio. That in itself is an outstanding effort. Well done guys and gal

Bad luck to Gorka who suffered technical issues but still leads the championship, a small consolation.

All in all a great nights racing, the intensity before race one was incredible and so to the evenings racing.

Round 3 Kyalami again saw plenty of action. Gorka showed just how good his current form is with two wins and a second in an amazing display of driving. Mr Consistent David Cruickshank was back on the winners list in race two while League favourite Marcel Wiegers didn't have the best of nights and will be keen for revenge in Monaco.
Everon took two podiums in his best result for the year. The races saw a good mix of drivers drivers landing in the top ten, Fisk, Minga, Cook, Nikos, Neela, Tumbas just to name a few.
In an unfortunate turn of events Rob Milliken who was my pick for driver of the night lost his points for failing to change his tyres. Sorry Rob and thanks for showing great sportsmanship in the forums.
Teams. Will Race for Food stretched their lead, while Lowland racing are hanging on to second in what is heating up to be a close battle.

All in all it was a great event, some broken suspension and broken hearts but that's what makes us come back for more.

Round 2 saw plenty of action at 70's Watkins Glen. Gorka dominated with 2 wins while Paul Ceglia picked up yet another win in race 3. Wim in his first appearance this season picked up a very handy 43 points while Vittorio, Rob Milliken, David Cruickshank all picked up valuable points. Marcel Wiegers will be out for revenge next race after some bad luck turned his night into disappointment. Teams are heating up, Will Race for Food increasing their lead, Lowland and Billy Cart Bangers both taking themselves out in separate incidents. The new double Dutch team of Wim and Cor scoring some good points. The battle for Team Trophies looks to be an intense one.
All in all a great night with plenty of action. Great turn out by members again with 19 drivers on track. I'm going to say it again, the sportsmanship here is outstanding and after reading the race reports and seeing apologies for incidents it just shows the stand you all set here. Keep up the good work.
